Oozing with character and charm, Tottering by Gently Annexe is adjacent to the home and studio of Country Life Cartoonist, painter and sculptor Annie Tempest. It is dog friendly with an enclosed courtyard area and a larger fenced dog-safe area situated just off its entrance pathway leading to the cottage from a large parking area. The space Just 25 minutes inland from the beautiful North Norfolk coast, 2.5 miles from the 700-acre Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and surrounded by wonderful dog walks, Tottering by Gently offers a comfortable and quiet escape from a busy world. It is ideal place for writers, creatives (studio space can be arranged), bird watchers, cyclists, walkers and nature lovers. No children. There is a good Thai restaurant at the edge of the village of Stibbard and a good range of gastro pubs in the area. Stibbard is situated between the Norfolk towns of Fakenham and Holt and is 6.6 miles from Thursford where the annual Christmas Spectacular is a big Norfolk attraction. For all lengths of stay, the property will be cleaned by our housekeepers and all guests will receive clean linens, towels, a tea towel, tea, coffee, milk and sundries. Downstairs Kitchen/dining area: A spacious, bright area benefitting from a dining table with 2x chairs, large sideboard which is well stocked with crockery cutlery pots pans and cooking utensils, a tabletop dishwasher, 4x ring electric hob, under-counter fridge, under-counter freezer, toaster, kettle, butler sink, Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of coffee pods, DAB radio. Note ** there is no oven. Sitting area: 2 seater sofa with throw and 2 armchairs, electric Dimplex fireplace, TV with Freeview and a selection of games and reading material. Workspace: A leather top writing desk, radio, Bluetooth speaker, reading lamp, chair. Bathroom: WC, sink, vanity unit, storage cupboard with ironing board, mirror, heated towel rail, bath with shower over and a shower curtain. Upstairs Bedroom 1: With a double bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, a large chest of drawers for storage, a full-length mirror and a chair. Bedroom 2: With a single bed, bedside table with lamp, wardrobe a full-length mirror and a chair. ** Note there is restricted head height above the bed. Outside Fully enclosed beautiful mature private courtyard garden with table chairs also just off of the pathway is a secure dog-friendly green garden with benches. There is easy off-street parking for two cars.
