The space Gate Crag is a beautiful cottage located near Keswick sleeping up to 6 guests. The ground floor contains a spacious dining kitchen with dishwasher, washer dryer, coffee machine and all modern conveniences. Through the kitchen takes you to the L shaped lounge with working fire and smart tv with free view and Netflix. There is also a seating area to take in the breathtaking views of Great Dodd from the front and Blencathra at the back of the house from the dual aspect windows. Furthermore there is a downstairs bathroom with shower over bath and a downstairs super king sized bedroom which can also be two singles if required. Perfect for those needing accommodation for some guests all on one level. To the first floor there are two further super king bedrooms decorated with a country and modern finish. Both rooms can also be set up as two single beds providing versatility for guests requirements. Outside there is a patio area with dining furniture allowing guests to enjoy the extraordinary views. The area is fenced and gated but small dogs may need to be supervised due to the wide panelled fencing. The country garden and 4 acre field is shared with Scales Green Farm and contains various fruit trees and berries. Here there are two tree swings for children to play on, a gate to the 4 acre field to explore and play in and The Barn, an outbuilding currently being converted into a shared games room and cinema room to be completed by the beginning of Oct. The steps leading up at the back of the properties have a fabulous panoramic view and well worth a look. Have a seat on the bench with a brew and enjoy the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you. The country garden is set on the base of Blencathra. Feel free to climb the hill in the field to take in the stunning views of the valley. The property is located on A66 so there is traffic passing by during the day but is quiet in the evening. Gate Crag cottage can be booked with Scales Green Farm to accommodate larger bookings of up to 14 guests across 7 bedrooms. Guest access Guests can access the parking area for Gate Crag in front of the property. The shared garden, 4 acre field and games/cinema room are all available to use throughout your stay.
