Find peace and tranquility at this 2 bedroom ( 4 beds) 1 bath pet friendly mountain retreat in a quiet neighborhood. We are just a short distance from Breckenridge. You can unwind on the deck and enjoy the amazing views of two of Colorado's 14ers, Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Bross. Great access to fishing, hiking, skiing, biking, 4x4, or simply take a walk along the South Platte river that flows through the middle of the neighborhood in the valley. We are located in Placer Valley, a subdivision of Alma and only 12 miles to Breckenridge. Clean, welcoming cabin within 20 minutes of world-class skiing, hiking, fishing, off-roading, mountain biking, and restaurants. Located on a large property, this space offers an escape into nature. Hike along the river, spot wildlife, rest below fourteen-thousand-foot peaks; Mt Lincoln and Mt Bross, and truly get away from it all while being so close to many amenities. Private cozy cabin with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, family room, and a spacious deck. We enjoy keeping the cabin well stocked with plenty of spices, olive oil & vinegar, coffee, cream & sugar, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. The kitchen does have a dishwasher. Important Notes PLEASE READ: Four wheel drive or all wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended in November through May. The driveway and roads are plowed, but our high elevation valley gets a lot of snow. You will take a dirt road to get to the house. We strongly advise against coming to the Colorado mountains in the winter without a four wheel drive vehicle. During the winter, it is likely that there will be snow and ice on the roads. The roads are well-maintained, but this is just a part of driving in the Colorado mountains. We cannot offer refunds due to snow or ice on the road. Our wifi is Starlink. It is the best in the area. We have no problem using wifi or zoom. Cell phone service may be spotty in the area depending on your carrier. This cabin is in one of the highest elevation towns in Colorado and altitude sickness is possible. Please be cautious, acclimate if necessary, and stay hydrated. The stars are incredible here, please anticipate that there will not be street lamps in our neighborhood. Check Out Procedures: To be transparent, we want guests to know what they will be asked to do upon check out. We only ask guests to do the bare minimum required for the place to be left safe and sanitary. This means we ask guests to do their own dishes, leave the bagged up trash just inside the front door, and leave the house locked and all 4 thermostats at 60 degrees. The rest is covered in your cleaning fee. Guest access Parking is in the pull in/out driveway. Parking is not allowed on the roads. All wheel drive or 4x4 required in winter. Other things to note Please do not let your dog on the couch. Pet must be contained/crated if left home alone. Any damage due to pet is responsibility of the guest. Please keep your dog on a leash, and pick up after your pet outside. Thank you!
