Sunlit Shore sleeps up to 11 people (maximum 8 adults) across 3 bedrooms within the house – queen, queen, queen; plus a trio bunk and bunk in the lined shed rumpus room. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office. There is a main bathroom in the accommodation with walk-in shower, vanity and toilet; with ensuite access from the master bedroom through the walk-in robe. There is a second toilet located by the laundry, and the linen shed has a bathroom with a vanity and toilet. Sunlit Shore has an air-conditioned and spacious open plan living area comprising the lounge room, dining space and kitchen; and sliding doors lead out to the outdoor entertainment area and backyard. The lounge room has comfortable sofas, a large television, DVD player and a selection of board games, with an adjacent spacious dining area. The holiday accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, stovetop espresso maker, rainwater and fridge/freezer; plus a range of appliances including a kettle, toaster, airfryer and sandwich maker. At the front of the house, a family room provides an additional space to unwind, with sofa seating and a large television (with USB & HDMI ports). The laundry facilities at the holiday house include a top load washing machine and pull-up clothesline. In addition to the trio bunk and bunk in the rumpus room in the lined shed, guests can enjoy entertainment options with a television and DVD player. Outside, Sunlit Shore has a large rear deck with an undercover entertaining area overlooking the lawned backyard. Guests can relax at the outdoor dining setting, with a drinks fridge on the deck and flat plate barbecue nearby. Sunlit Shore offers fish cleaning facilities at the rear of the shed, and a fire pit in the unfenced rear yard, but guests will need to bring wood to use and check fire regulations. There is plenty of off-street parking at the accommodation with room for 4 cars to be parked in the driveway, and space for a boat. The Balgowan beachfront, playground and kiosk (open seasonally) are just a 5-minute walk away, or for boat launching the boat ramp is only a short drive from the accommodation. Nearby Maitland has a wide range of shopping and dining options, including a large supermarket, hardware store, chemist, op shops, newsagent, hotels, café and bakery.
