Secluded Fairytale Cottage surrounded by forest

Feel a sense of calm wash over you the second you open your car door at this completely secluded fairytale cottage in the woods. Enjoy your morning coffee with the crisp scent of firs or enjoy a late night soak in the hot tub while looking at the stars. No matter what you do, you will be at peace with your loved ones at this retreat! This property boasts enough nature to stay put and explore, or hike the connected Zaleski backpacking trail. Lake Hope and Hocking Hills are a close drive! The space The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. On the main floor is the cozy master queen size bedroom, and upstairs there are two additional bedrooms. One has a full size bed and a twin bed, and the other, arguably the second master, has a queen size bed as well. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook meals for the weekend. In the morning, drink your coffee from the beautiful deck or enjoy a soak in the hot tub, looking right into pine trees with view of the pond down the hill. We provide high speed internet through Starlink, so you can work remotely if needed. Or choose to disconnect! At night, enjoy nature by having a fire with friends and family at our fire-pit down by the pond, soaking in the soothing sounds of nature and enjoying the stars. To see the Milky Way on a clear night, go to the orchard right off the house for the best view! Guest access To enter the cottage, guests will receive a code to use on our automatic door lock. To get to the property, you must go up a pretty steep gravel road directly off State Route 56. It is recommended to drive an AWD or 4WD vehicle if possible. We have gotten up the hill in a number of cars, including Hyundai Sonata, Buick Lucerne, Toyota Camry, etc., but it is much easier in at least AWD. If you drive a 2WD vehicle, we recommend to put the pedal to the metal and pick up speed to get up the first big hill. The driveway, in total, is about half a mile.
