The Chapel is a beautifully restored Victorian building dating from 1854, Grade II listed and set within its own private grounds in Brompton Regis. Sleeping up to two guests, it offers one king-size bedroom with a period brass bed, Egyptian cotton linens and Jim Lawrence lighting, along with one modern shower room featuring a full-length walk-in shower with rainfall and handheld heads. The space The living area retains the chapel's original wooden barrel ceiling, exposed stone wall and striking double-height stained glass windows, warmed by a wood-burner and underfloor heating throughout. A unique glass-fronted mezzanine, reached by an oak staircase, offers a leather club-chair seating area overlooking the chapel below. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a SMEG fridge/freezer, Bosch oven and hob, microwave, washer/dryer and a Nespresso machine, and opens via bi-fold doors onto the rear patio and garden. Outside, guests have a large private garden with several seating areas, a Kadai firepit and grill, a bistro table by the kitchen doors, and access to an orchard, river frontage and eight acres of private land overlooking Exmoor's hills and fields. A further seating area in the orchard is perfect for al fresco dining, and guests are welcome to pick apples in season or produce from the allotment. Secure cycle storage is available on request. Fast wifi (150 mbps), a smart TV with multi-channel and app options, a smart speaker and board games are provided indoors, along with an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Electricity and underfloor heating are included in the price, and logs and kindling are supplied for the wood-burner. Off-road parking is available for two cars in the grounds to the rear. The property is not suitable for children or infants, and dogs are not permitted.
