Description

Welcome to my home! Centrally located in the gateway to the White Mountains. 20-25 minutes from Franconia Notch, Cannon Mountain, Lincoln, Waterville Valley, Loon Mountain, Plymouth and Tenney Mountain. 2 miles from Benton's Sugar Shack. High speed Internet with 3 work stations for remote workers. 2 hours from Boston. This is my home when you aren't here, and shows signs of human habitation, but you don't have to feel bad that your vacation is depriving the locals of housing. The space This is a 3 bedroom, two bath house. The master bedrooms has a king size bed, the guest bedroom a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has a giant 8 foot diameter beanbag in it. There is a sleeper sofa in the office/loft that pulls out into two twin beds or a queen size bed. The blue ottoman in the living room also pulls out into a twin bed. The kitchen is fully stocked. This is my full-time residence when you aren't renting it, so there will be my clothes and belongings in the closets and dressers (I can empty out the dressers in the master bedroom or the downstairs closets before your arrival upon request), and some food in the fridge (though it won't be full). The house will be reasonably clean and tidy when you check in, but if you want a spotless, hotel-like experience, this may not be the rental for you. I'm probably not going to, for example, scrub the oven and stove burners before each guest checks in, but the floors will be swept/vacuumed, the counters washed, toilets and showers cleaned, and fresh linens for the beds. I have a long haired cat, who will vacate the house with me. I think I do a good job cleaning up her hair before I leave, but if you are *very* allergic to cats, you might be affected by her. I keep the downstairs bedroom door closed and the cat out of that room at all times, so if you have mild cat allergies, I'd recommend that room. Guest access Guests will be provided a temporary door code for the front door. Other things to note I think I'm a reasonably laid back host, so long as you don't trash my home. I like the stuff in my house (including my liquor collection), please don't steal or break it. There's a fireplace for your use, a fire pit in the backyard, and gas grill on the deck. Please don't burn down my house. I don't believe in cleaning fees or making guests perform deep cleans before they check out, but if you use the beds, don't remake them so I know which linens need to be washed. If you make dirty dishes, please don't leave them in the sink, run the dishwasher. If you spill something, please make a reasonable effort to clean it up. Again, this is where I live, treat it like you would your home.
