Sutton Lake: Sutton Lake is 125 feet deep at the dam and the dam is 210 feet high, 1178 feet long and 195 feet wide at the base and 1407 acres that is fed by the Elk River. It is a narrow lake that provides an intimate canoeing experience with coves and two arms that meander up the Elk and Holley River drainages. A great fishing spot with Largemouth bass, yellow perch, blue gill, rainbow trout Mercer Lake: Boat Launch - There are two public boat launches, First is about 1.5 miles further east on Mercer Lake rd., watch for signs on your left. Second and slightly easier option, West on Mercer Lake rd to Bayberry rd turn right then an immediate right onto Archer Ln. Launch is at the end of the road, narrow road so best to back down Archer to water. Mercer is a good sized lake listed at 341acres on the north side of Florence. Great largemouth bass fishing, yellow perch, bullhead catfish, seasonally stocked rainbow trout and some sunfish as well.. With a boat, you can poke around the long Dowell and Dahlin arms and many small coves and points around the lake. There are standing and fallen trees around the shoreline, as well as a fair number of docks, that add to the potential cover for bass and panfish. What’s nearby:
 This home is a quick drive to multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean 
beaches including the popular access just out South Jetty Road. The charming Old Town section of the city 
is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants.

 where crabbing is excellent from late spring until the fresh water from winter rains force
