The self-contained cottage is included for groups of 7 or more and is a quiet space with its own terrace and garden. The local taverna and mini-market shop is just 5 minutes walk, and lovely Almyrida beach and resort is about 6 minutes drive. 45 minutes drive from Chania Airport. The separate self-contained cottage is available at extra charge and is a quiet space with its own terrace and garden. The location and size of this Villa, and the space around make it very special, even in this amazing part of Crete. With its private pool and multiple terraces, all with stunning views of sea and mountains, a large gamesroom, and large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, this really is a special place. The main villa sleeps up to 9 (double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, and full-size 3 fold-up beds). The Shepherds Cottage is fully self-contained and sleeps two (twin bedroom). The Villa is just 5 minutes walk from the local taverna and mini-market, and 6 minutes short drive to beaches. All rooms are spacious with high ceilings and plenty of light. There are several terraces enjoying fantastic views of this lovely part of Crete. We have a great local team to keep the villa cleaned and maintained. There are far-reaching views on all sides of the property: the Mediterranean, Souda Bay, Akroteri peninsula, White Mountains and nearby villages and resorts. Unlimited free WiFi. Air-conditioning throughout. 8x5 m private pool, large gamesroom with table-football, pool-table and table-tennis, lovely gardens, and 5 terraces with comfortable furniture and 10 sun-beds. This is great value for families. but could also suit 3 or 4 couples sharing. You can have use of the Villa and self-contained Cottage together. We do not let them separately, so the whole site, including the pool, can be available for you and your family or friends to use privately. We will send you a comprehensive Visitors' Guide before your holiday, which explains all the details of the Villa, local maps and amenities. You can walk the 5 minutes to the local taverna and mini-market, but a car is advisable if you want to visit the local resort of Almyrida and the beaches, which are a 6 or 7 minute drive. The nearest airport is Chania, which has year-round connections to most European countries. The airport to Villa journey takes about 45 minutes and will cost around Euro 50 for a taxi. Alternatively there is plenty of car rental choice, and we can give you clear route instructions to find the Villa. (Once you have booked we are happy to guide you with finding the right taxi, car rental and other issues.) Guest access Guests have private access to the whole site, the main villa, all the terraces, the pool and its terrace, and the gamesroom.
