Escape to the serene beauty of Castelnau-Magnoac at Pyrenees Palms, our small family-run retreat in the South of France. Set on 2 hectares of private land, this charming farmhouse and Gîte blend rustic elegance with modern comforts. Whether you're relaxing with family or friends, you'll find peace and privacy in this idyllic setting. The property is within walking distance to local village shops, a supermarket, bars, restaurants, Stade Jean Morere, and the scenic Castelnau Lake. The space Guests staying in the gîte have use of the swimming pool and undercover games/bbq area. While our family resides on-site in the main house, we rarely use the pool or amenities. This arrangement ensures that the facilities are primarily reserved for the sole enjoyment of our gîte guests, providing a relaxing experience. This beautifully converted barn Gîte offers a charming and spacious layout, featuring two double bedrooms and a family bathroom complete with both a bath and a separate walk-in shower. The open-plan lounge flows into the kitchen/diner, creating a welcoming space for cooking, dining, and relaxing. Please note, there is one step up to the kitchen/dining area, while the remainder of the floor space is on one level. The gîte comfortably accommodates up to 4 people. Additionally, there is a double click-clack bed that can sleep up to 2 more guests. ** Please note that the gîte barn is based on 4 persons sharing; any additional guests will be charged €25 per person, per night. Babies and infants in cots who do not require a separate bed will not incur any extra charges. ** Guest access Guests typically let themselves in, with keys left on the inside of the door for your convenience. To access the gîte, enter through the small gate within the large brown gate arch at the front of the house. Once through the arch, turn left into the garden, where the gîte can be seen on the left-hand side of the pool, located under the rear of the barn. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared garden, swimming pool, and games area, which includes darts, a pool table, and various outdoor games for all the family. Each Gîte also has its own private outdoor spaces: The Cottage Gite features a private garden with an outdoor dining area, perfect for enjoying meals in the peaceful surroundings. The Barn Gîte offers a private outdoor dining area and a separate private grassed area with additional seating for relaxation. There is ample off road parking for cars, bikes, caravans and motorhomes. Other things to note You'll also be greeted by some friendly faces. We have a Tibetan Terrier named Lolly who loves meeting new people and can often be seen around the property. Additionally, we have two playful ferrets, Noodle and Saturn, who live in an outbuilding to the left of the swimming pool.
