Barn Gite

Escape to the beauty of Castelnau-Magnoac at Pyrenees Palms, our small family-run retreat in the South of France. This charming farmhouse and Gîte blend rustic elegance with modern comforts. Whether you're relaxing with family or friends, you'll find peace and privacy in this idyllic setting. The property is within walking distance to local village shops including an Intermarche, 2 x Boulangeries, Le Petit Cesar Tabac, Bar de L'Hotel Dupont, Chez Jean, La Taulada & Bistro Gourmand Restaurants. The space The property consists of our main house (where we live) and a Barn Gite. Seperate from the house with your own door to the inside. Sole use of pool/gardens & entertainment areas. (No other gites) Guests staying in the gîte have use of the swimming pool and undercover games/bbq area. While our family resides on-site in the main house, we rarely use the pool or amenities. This arrangement ensures that the facilities are primarily reserved for the sole enjoyment of our gîte guests, providing a relaxing experience. This beautifully converted barn Gîte offers a charming and spacious layout, featuring two double bedrooms and a family bathroom complete with both a bath and a separate walk-in shower. The open-plan lounge flows into the kitchen/diner, creating a welcoming space for cooking, dining, and relaxing. Please note, there is one step up to the kitchen/dining area, while the remainder of the floor space is on one level. The gîte comfortably accommodates up to 4 people. Additionally, there is a double click-clack bed that can sleep up to 2 more guests. ** Please note that the gîtes is based on 4 persons sharing; any additional guests will be charged €25 per person, per night. Babies and infants in cots who do not require a separate bed will not incur any extra charges. ** Guest access Guests typically let themselves in, with keys left on the inside of the door for your convenience. To access the gîte, enter through the small gate within the large brown gate arch at the front of the house. Once through the arch, turn left into the garden, where the gîte can be seen on the left-hand side of the pool, located under the rear of the barn. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared garden, swimming pool, and games area, which includes darts, a pool table, and various outdoor games for all the family. There is ample off road parking for cars, bikes, caravans and motorhomes. Other things to note You'll also be greeted by some friendly faces. We have a Tibetan Terrier named Lolly who will greet you on arrival, but likes you to say hello to her and make a fuss everytime you come through the gate. We have two curious ferrets, Noodle and Saturn, who live in an outbuilding to the left of the swimming pool. You’re welcome to watch them as they play together, lounge in their hammocks, or curiously explore their surroundings. Additionally past the Gite Barn are two goats, both born on the same day but to different goat mums. They are called Uschi & Yuki and like to head butt one another. *** Please note that the Barn Gite is based on 4 persons sharing; any additional guests will be charged €25 per person, per night.
