Crooked River Retreat

Welcome! We are happy to offer you a unique place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Cuyahoga River! Launch your kayak or canoe from our dock (or borrow one of ours). We can also direct you to local launch areas for a leisurely paddle back to our dock. Multiple liveries are minutes away for rentals/rides for the inexperienced. If you are in to fishing, bring your gear! The private suite has its own keypad entrance and sleeps up to three. The space Minutes from the village of Mantua that has adorable coffee bistro, shops, dining, laundromat, and biking/hiking/walking trails. 30-45 minutes from Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, and everything northeast Ohio has to offer. We grew up here and are happy to share/recommend places to go! The studio apartment is newly renovated with a well equipped kitchen. Queen bed and futon sofa for sleeping. The ceilings are low, so if you are over 6'3" tall, may not be a comfortable fit. While your suite is private, you will likely be sharing the outdoors with Brian, Tracy, our two dogs (Kunoichi and Seven), and potentially friends of ours that frequent the river. Our dogs do not have access to the suite, even when not rented. Please keep in mind, this is a part of our home and treat/respect it like it is yours. No smoking in the suite, outdoor area provided. Please no outdoor shoes in the suite, disposable slippers provided. Guest access Private suite and spacious yard, including private grill and common fire pit.
