Diego's Place.
Description
Hi! I'm Diego and this is my apartment. I occasionally offer it to travelers who want to stay in a nice apartment from the late 1940s. It's in the heart of historic downtown Mexico City. A few blocks from Bellas Artes and very well connected. Excellent for getting around anywhere in the city. I've lived here for almost 15 years and I'm temporarily offering it for short stays. I hope you enjoy staying in my home! The space Apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second two single beds and the third a single bed. I usually live in the apartment with my parakeet Pepe and two other guests, but I will be offering it in full occasionally. It's an LGBTQ+ friendly space and I advertise the space a few days a month to help me pay the rent. It is not an apartment that is meant to be just an Airbnb so I have a lot of personal items, please keep this in mind and be respectful and careful with the space. The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator, so we recommend keeping this in mind if you have mobility issues. IMPORTANT: On the street there are lgbt+ bars and clubs, on Thursday to Saturday nights the street is crowded and noisy. If you're a light sleeper or are bothered by noise at night, please keep this in mind before booking. It's something that unfortunately is out of my control. Guest access As guests, you have access to the entire apartment except for two closets that I have as a storage room and to store my personal belongings. Only people who are registered in the reservation are allowed access to the building. If you need to wash clothes, let me know in advance to explain how to connect and the precautions to take. Other things to note Check-in time is only between 1pm and 10pm. If for any reason they were not arriving it is that time I will not be able to receive them as the check-in is not self check-in. I also do not have space to store suitcases before check-in or after check out. There are a few LGBT+ bars on the street; on weekend nights (Thursday to Saturday), the street is busy and noisy. The apartment is on a third floor and there is no elevator. Due to an eviction in one of the buildings across the street, there is a protest camp set up by the evicted residents on the street. It does not pose any safety issues, but the street is closed to cars on the block where the building is located.
