The Canche House

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay. The house is ideally located, in the heart of the village of Attin and close to Montreuil-sur-Mer and the marshes. You can go for a walk or bike ride from the house, pretty paths will take you directly to Montreuil and the surrounding countryside. The house has good equipment: quality bedding, many kitchen accessories, chairs and tables in quantity, garden furniture, BBQ etc. The space We wanted to preserve the character of the farmhouse, while enhancing it and regularly improving it for extra comfort. You can therefore appreciate the authentic side of the place by the fireplace or on the terrace, in the beautiful wooded garden. The decor is important to me, you will hopefully feel at home. The richness of this place also lies in its proximity to Montreuil-sur-Mer, shops and marshes. A 5-minute walk will immerse you in another world where you can meet many birds and some animals inclined to show the tip of their noses! The house is 120 m2. On the ground floor you will find: - a large living space (living room, dining room); - a fully equipped kitchen; - 2 double bedrooms; - 1 bathroom with bath/shower, 1 single shower, 1 toilet. Upstairs you will find a dormitory that can accommodate 5 people and a double bedroom. A total of 11 people can be accommodated. This place is very important to us, we do everything to make it a soothing, beautiful and pleasant place. We want to make sure that when people arrive, they feel relaxed, on vacation. A time to disconnect. In order to preserve the tranquility of all and since we are in the heart of the village with neighbors around, we ask that you respect the premises. Do not play music outdoors (it tends to resonate a lot and small speakers can now be very powerful) and do not have loud parties. It is more of a place that lends itself to friendly reunions with family or friends. Guest access You access the farmhouse type accommodation through a main courtyard. This is a spacious place (about 1000 m2) where you can park your cars. We may cross paths as we also pass through this courtyard to access our home (we live about fifty meters from the house). Feel free to ask us any questions. It is also possible that you will meet my mother who lives in a small adjoining house. Charming and very used to groups, she is always willing to help! The space at the back on the other hand (garden of about 600 m2) is completely reserved for you, you will have a beautiful space with terrace and everything you need as well as a swing for the children. Other things to note In order to preserve the tranquility of all and since we are in the heart of the village with neighbors around, we ask that you respect the tranquility of the place. Do not play music outdoors (it tends to resonate a lot) and do not have loud parties. Everyone around enjoys hearing joyful laughter but no bass or untimely shouting until late at night. In the event that music is played inside, we kindly ask that you close the doors so as not to disturb the neighborhood. Because with open doors, the sound tends to spread strongly given the calm atmosphere of the village. Also, a market gardener is located next to the house and sells very good fruits and vegetables that you can order before arriving :)
