Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) on the Kent/Surrey/Sussex border, the house is surrounded by our own land with views overlooking fields and ancient oaks. We have incredible walking from the doorstep, and are situated just a short drive from Hever Castle and Chartwell. Secure comfortable and sumptuous - a destination venue. The space Our guest bedroom is an expansive bright and airy double room with views across the terrace, garden and fields. The king size bed has Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet. Fluffy White Company towels and bathrobes are provided. The walls are decorated with the work of a local artist. Within the room are tea and coffee making facilities to suit all tastes, as well as a small fridge. The bedroom has ample drawer and wardrobe space. There is unlimited broadband and a smart television. The bedroom has a glorious en-suite bathroom with his and hers shower and washbasins, and with a freestanding bath to luxuriate in. Complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided for use during your stay. The room has plenty of space to relax or work - depending on your need. Guest access We have free parking in our driveway and guests can access the house 24 hours through the side door. The room has a bespoke door with keypad access to a flight of stairs that go straight into the room. Unfortunately our room is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. During your stay We are committed to doing all we possibly can to ensure guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. We will do our very best to answer any questions you have prior to arrival and provide local recommendations as needed, once you are here. Other things to note Tea & Coffee: we offer a selection of teas alongside a small guest fridge. Fresh milk is provided. Breakfast: A continental breakfast hamper in the room can be arranged prior to the stay for an additional fee. Pets: We have 2 dogs, unfortunately we can’t accommodate other animals. Local Attractions: We have numerous local cultural attractions including Chartwell (home of Sir Winston Churchill), Hever Castle (childhood home of Anne Boleyn), Chiddingstone Castle, Sissinghurst Gardens, Penshurst Place, Emmets Gardens and Knole Park. We are a 30 minute drive from Gatwick Airport, 60 minutes from Heathrow (talk to us about airport parking). Local train stations are Lingfield and Edenbridge Town (linking directly to London). We are a 20 minute drive from the M25. We are surrounded by amazing pubs and restaurants and can make recommendations based on requirements.
