#12-Loads of natural light & views of trees!

One of my favorite things to do as a child was to sit and look at the trees. This cabin reminds me of those summers spent in a treehouse. Natural light, large windows with views of the trees from almost every room are just few of our Guests favorite things while staying at this 'lil knotty pine cabin in the woods! Our home is a popular destination because you are close enough but not too close to the activities at the resort side of Wallowa Lake. Come and enjoy it for yourselves! The space Natural light and a view of trees from almost every window of this home brings such calm and peace to a vacation. Every room has large windows (except the baths) showcasing nature's beauty when it comes to trees and landscape. We weren’t the designers of this cabin in the woods, but there isn’t a single thing I’d change if we had been. I love the open floor plan between the living room, dining table, kitchen area which keeps my family together when we are inside the cabin. For those that are more of evening early birds, you’ll appreciate the bedrooms being off the main part of the house providing a bit of quiet when the rest of the group is still up and about. Each queen bedroom has a bathroom just outside each door, one bathroom offering a shower/tub combo and the other a freestanding shower stall. The utility room situated off the kitchen offers a washer and dryer for your use to keep up on that vacation laundry! Outside of the living room is a wrap around deck that offers a large dining table with shade, a propane bbq and a propane fire pit (We’ll provide the propane for you!) The steps leading down from the deck lead to the parking area and natural landscaping that your littles are sure to enjoy exploring! We are confident that you’ll enjoy every inch of our home whether you come with your family, another couple, a few friends, or a romantic weekend! We sincerely hope you go back to your daily life relaxed and recharged! DISTANCES: (est walking time if you are a strolling type) Wallowa Lake Tramway 20 minutes Horse Pack Station 15 minutes Mini Golf 20 minutes Day use state park/Marina 15 minutes We feel that this is the perfect vacation location because you are close enough to partake if you wish, but far enough away to feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle of all the fun activities that the resort side of Wallowa Lake offers! (sorry to be cryptic here but links get picked up and flagged). Guest access You’ll get to enjoy every inch of our home and property privately! Other things to note Please don't take our "fine print" below as anything other than helpful advice, but please do take it seriously. We want you to have a successful and relaxing stay. Here are things we think are helpful to a successful vacation: *SUPPLIES: A starter pack of kitchen/bathroom/utility supplies will be provided. If you run out and need more, you will be responsible for those. *POWER OUTAGES are a thing up here. Frequent at times. We aren’t privy to an ETA anymore than you. Please refer to the Pacific Power website for ETA on outage and restoration. BBQS/FIRE PIT: Seasonally available Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Tanks are provided. PETS: We welcome Fido! (max 2 dogs) Please keep them off beds, (that means sheets too), and all furniture. Keep them safe from wildlife by using a leash, and scoop/dispose of poo in outside garbage can. Additional charges will be sought if evidence is found of our rules being broken. We love dogs, travel with ours as well, but help us keep this home pet friendly by honoring our wishes. ALSO, please be aware that the deer do not play well with dogs. WILDLIFE: Please do not feed, engage in play, pet or disturb the wildlife. Best enjoyed from a distance regardless of how friendly they appear....they are moody little critters! CABLE: Not available, but the TV is smart so bring your streaming account info PARKING: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. FIRES/FIREWORKS/SMOKING/VAPING ETC: Not allowed WIFI: Rural wifi is spotty at times. No refunds unfortunately. Refer to the 3 ring binder on how to reset the wifi router. RURAL LIVING has a lot of advantages. But some things like appliance repairs, service calls, take a bit more time up here please alert us ASAP so we can get the ball rolling. If it isn’t an emergency, but needs attention, refer to the 3 ring binder on how to handle this. A/C: Please do not leave running when you aren’t in the home. Please make sure all windows and doors are closed while using. Upon departure, please return home to temp setting specified in 3 ring binder.
