Nestled on 5 acres of beautiful pines and borders the Urban Trail- but is only 5 min from downtown. The loft offers a living room, a new kitchen, a memory foam King bed, and a private outdoor patio to enjoy the wildlife and starry skies. The loft sits over the garage and office of the main house but has a private entrance. The space Fully renovated in 2024, our beautiful new loft features a light-filled bedroom with forest view, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a pristine, brand-new bathroom, a memory foam King bed, 175 channel DIRECT TV, and a beautiful private outdoor space, so you can enjoy being outside, in the trees. Our property borders the beautiful Flagstaff Urban Trail System, gateway to endless trails for hiking, biking and cross country skiing, so you can walk or ski out the door. Our property has also been designated by The National Wildlife Federation as a "Backyard Wildlife Habitat," and our guests love spending afternoons and mornings outside, taking in the quiet trees and enjoying the frequent sightings of deer, elk, hummingbirds, and more. Located walking distance from Lowell Observatory, where the planet Pluto was discovered, the starry night skies are magical to behold and overall, we just think it's a little slice of heaven. The loft has a private entrance leading to a sprawling *1,000-square foot private loft, with vaulted ceilings and encircled by windows looking out onto the forest. This beautiful and spacious loft is a truly serene space, perfect for a short-term forest getaway or to book for an extended stay, as your own home away from home. After greatly enjoying having our first AIRBnB- The Cottage- for 7 years, we now have many annual guests who return for extended stays that often fill our summer and weekend bookings, and so we decided to renovate a second gorgeous space. Both of our listings are particularly well suited for longer term stays, if you're looking for a little home away from home, tucked away in the woods but just minutes from downtown/central Flagstaff and with easy access to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire loft and your own private outdoor patio space, nestled in the trees. You enter the loft through a back/side door of the main house, and the short hallway leading to the loft door is the only shared space. The loft sits over the garage and office of the main house and is very private and quiet. Other things to note The loft is a short (5 min or so) drive from downtown Flagstaff but feels secluded, private, and wonderfully quiet. **PLEASE NOTE- there's a dirt road for approximately 3/4 of a mile to our property. In the winter, the road is cleared by city snow plows and cindered; however, if snow is in the forecast, 4 wheel drive is highly recommended.
