Five acres of fields and woods and 2 streams of pure bliss is here for you to enjoy and explore. The house is stocked well with all the goodies you will need for a comfortable stay. At night, enjoy incredibly dark skies and some of the best stargazing you’ll find. If you are coming to the Farmington area to visit friends or family this is the place for you! You can bring your ATVs and ride right from the driveway for your adventures! Super fast internet will allow you to work remotely and stream! * Enjoy staying in our 1840s recently renovated farmhouse in Temple, Maine, a short and beautiful drive to downtown Farmington. * Enjoy the beautiful beams and amazing architecture. * Always fresh and updated. * Warm, full kitchen with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking sheets, and dishes. * Plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, wine glasses, also paper goods, plastic-ware, and cups available. * Toaster, Blender, Crock pot available. * Coffee set up for easy morning: Kuerig + French Press coffee maker, and drip coffee maker with filters * Coffee pods, creamer, and sweeteners provided. **Comfortable spaces designed for relaxing and gathering: → Large sectional sofa in a bright, open living area → Smart TV for streaming (no cable) → Open flow between living, kitchen, and dining areas → Dining table for shared meals and game nights **Sleeping arrangements: → Bedroom 1: Queen bed with memory foam mattress → Bedroom 2: Queen bed + workspace → Bedroom 3: Queen bed → Bedroom 4: Two twin beds All bedrooms include: → Memory foam mattresses → Smart TVs without cable ** Bathrooms & laundry: → Full bathroom with a deep tub → Half bathroom with washer & dryer → Laundry detergent provided ** Outdoor space to unwind and explore: → Fire pit with seating area (please ask for firewood) → Large open yard and fields and streams → Surrounded by woods and wildlife → Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers * It's an old Maine farmhouse so the floors are a little slanty and wonky in places. Nothing to alarm though! * We do have 2 honey bee hives on the property. They keep to themselves and flowers. It’s ok to watch them from a distance, just not in the front of their hives or too close. They are fascinating creatures! Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, along with the lawn, fields, and surrounding outdoor space to explore and enjoy during their stay. Parking & Trailers → Free off-street parking for multiple vehicles → Room for trailers, ATVs, and snowmobiles ATV Access → Ride directly from the driveway → Road riding is permitted in the area Restricted Area The basement is locked and not accessible to guests for safety reasons. Other things to note Pet Policy Dogs are welcome with approval. Dogs under 60 lbs are typically accepted, and larger dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please message before booking to confirm and review expectations. Firewood Firewood is available upon request. Please let us know in advance if you’d like wood provided for the fire pit. Mid-Stay Refresh A light refresh of the home can be arranged during longer stays. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to schedule this.
