The space Stay at El Ranchito Alegre in Historic Corrales Welcome to El Ranchito Alegre, which means “The Happy Little Ranch.” Our home sits on a private acre along historic Camino Real in the Village of Corrales, offering a quiet place to stay while still being close to Albuquerque and many of the area’s main attractions. The home has three bedrooms plus a loft, with plenty of space for families and groups. Inside you’ll find brick floors, wood accents, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and comfortable spaces to relax and spend time together. The loft can be used for additional sleeping space, working, or just spreading out. Outside, the property gives you room and privacy while still being close to the heart of Corrales. It’s not unusual to see quail wandering through the yard, and at night you’ll often have a great view of the New Mexico sky. We’re about 10 minutes from Balloon Fiesta Park, making the house a convenient option for families, groups, and balloon crews coming to Albuquerque for Balloon Fiesta. We have also hosted production crews and are happy to work with groups that may have additional parking or equipment needs. The house also works well for longer stays, temporary relocations, remote work, or extended visits with family. If you’re looking for a stay of several weeks or longer, feel free to ask us about availability and longer-term rates. Corrales is a historic village along the Rio Grande with local restaurants, wineries, farms, galleries, and walking and biking trails. You’ll have the quiet of Corrales while still being within easy driving distance of Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and the Jemez Mountains. Guest access As our guest, you’re welcome to enjoy full use of the home and the peaceful yard that surrounds it. To ensure your comfort and safety, please note that two attic spaces upstairs, along with two utility closets on used for housekeeping and maintenance, will remain secured during your visit. These areas are not part of the guest quarters, but the rest of the home is yours to settle into and make yourself at home. Should you need anything at all during your stay, we’re always just a message or call away. Corrales is known for its quiet village atmosphere, so we ask guests to observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The home is on a septic system. Please flush only toilet paper and dispose of food, grease and cooking oils in the trash rather than the drains. A Ring doorbell camera is located at the front entrance for security and guest assistance. It is not actively monitored. Pets are welcome with prior approval. A $50 per pet, per night fee applies.
