The perfect retreat for exploring Somerset and the Southwest. Clavelshay barn is set in a peaceful idyllic valley, on the edge of the Quantock Hills in Somerset. The charming holiday barn has been beautifully rennovated in 2021. Despite its tranquil rural setting, Clavelshay Barn is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the A38 and close to the M5 (Junction 24). A perfect base for walking, cycling, bird watching, photgraphy and spending time with family and friends (furry ones too). The space The barn is tucked away in a peaceful valley just a short drive outside of North Petherton. The barn was built in 1700 and was renovated in 2021. The spacious open plan living/dining area has beautiful original elm beams along with a Wood burning stove, for cosy nights in. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you need and the living area has plenty of comfortable seating along with a Flat screen TV, and Wi-fi. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, one twin, one double , one king with en-suite shower room. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen and a set of towels for each guest are provided. There is a South facing sun trap terrace with table, chairs and BBQ, enclosed garden and large enclosed picnic paddock for your exclusive use. Dogs are very welcome and will love the private garden to run around in. There is car parking for multiple vehicles next to the barn, along with an Electric charging point. Access codes will provided before your arrival for self check in. Other things to note Myself, my husband and our two pups have recently made Clavelshay Farm our home. We are delighted to be able to take over Clavelshay Barn from the Milverton Family, who previously ran both the farm and the guest Barn. Sue has done an amazing job at setting up such a wonderful place and we feel very lucky to be able to continue this legacy.
