Welcome to your peaceful retreat! Our spacious downstairs suite in central Arvika is perfect for relaxing. Enjoy a generous living area, with spacious bedroom, private sauna, and refreshing shower. The suite is entirely private, though we share the entrance. Cozy up by the fireplace and use the fully equipped shared kitchen. Breakfast is available on request. The space The house is a two floor house with big terrace and green garden. The suite is located on the lower floor partially subterranean with four windows letting in plenty of daylight to make the suite bright and feeling spacious. The terrace could be used by guests if requested and if available, check with us first. The garden can also be enjoyed by guests and in summer there are many naturally growing fruits and berries, such as cherries, plums, cloudberries, wild strawberries, black and red currant, which can be enjoyed by guests if they like. It is not for picking and bringing home, but can be enjoyed in the garden or used in cooking. The neighborhood is calm with little traffic and in addition the suite is located away from the street so it is very silent and serene. Guest access The shared entrance is on the ground floor and guests can use the shared hallway for shoes, coats and jackets if they like. Some guests bring all their belongings downstairs. The kitchen is next to the hallway and is a shared space, the kitchen can be used upon request and availability to make sure that we do not collide with cooking and dinner plans. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a shared fridge where we always keep open space for guests to store food. in the kitchen there is also a Nespresso coffee machine that guests can use and coffee is complimentary. We have an office space, but it is not a shared space. However, if a guest is staying for a longer period of time and would like to have a working space at disposal we can arrange this, but please make the request at least a few days before arrival. In the lower floor next to the suite is a laundry room. This is normally not accessible for guests but in case guests need to do laundry during their stay we can arrange this for a small fee. Please request laundry at least a day ahead in order for us to remove our own belongings. The rest of the house is not accessible for guests. Other things to note We have two gorgeous cats living in the house. They keep mostly to themselves but are very cuddly and social at times. The suite is suitable for up to three adults or adults and teenagers. In addition to these three it is also possible to have infants and smaller children staying in the suite. We have a wooden baby bed available which is suitable for infants and smaller children up to approximately 1-1,5 years.
