This picturesque cottage in the beautiful village of Chilcompton is the ultimate countryside hideaway. Dating back to 1831, expect bags of traditional charm perfectly complimented with stylish, contemporary interiors. Curl up on the plump sofas in front of the wood burner, cook delicious feasts and enjoy lazy lie-ins. With the Mendip Hills right on the doorstep and Wells, Frome and Bath all within easy reach, you won't struggle for activities! Private parking is available. The space Flora Cottage has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 guests. On the ground floor is a twin room with two singles and there is also a shower room with a toilet on this level. On the first floor, you'll find two double bedrooms and a king bedroom, both of which share a family bathroom with a separate shower, bath and toilet. Although it can technically sleep up to 8, please keep in mind this is a period cottage and the room proportions are not comparable to modern properties. So it is likely more comfortable for up to 6 guests. Guest access Guests will have full access to the cottage and garden. Other things to note The BBQ is available for use from April to October. We welcome a maximum of 2 dogs on the condition they are kept off sofas, out of bedrooms and not left in the property unattended.
