A Traditional Detached Welsh Stone and Slate Cottage believed to date back to the late 16th / early 17th Century The space Welcome to our newly renovated quirky Cottage with lots of original features. We are nestled within a small hamlet of beach side properties offering an ideal place for solitude and relaxation. The Quiet Beach, which is mainly pebble with some small areas of sand, is less than a minutes’ walk away. It’s the perfect place for walking and relaxing, If the skies are clear you will see some beautiful sunsets on the seafront. We are set within an area of outstanding natural beauty with the Wales Coastal Path passing us at the top of the road. It’s a great base for visiting Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula. We are also within easy reach of Portmerion, Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Nefyn. Criccieth and Angelsey Adding to the Quirkiness of the Cottage we have some low beams upstairs in the property. One of the bedrooms has a low door entrance with a step down so you will need to duck/bend down to get through it. Once inside the room be sure to have a look at the original wide floorboards. Amenities: Two bedrooms - one double 135 cms with storage underneath and en-suite shower room and one Kingsize 150 cms (shower room is downstairs) Lounge with a beautiful log burner (first nights logs/firelighters are included) - additional supplies are available to buy locally – please note that we are within a clean air zone so please only burn kiln dried logs) Smart TV with Sonos soundbar WiFi Full range of kitchen utensils Dishwasher Washing machine Kettle/toaster Microwave Oven Induction Hob Cafetière Bathroom with shower cubicle and led mirror cabinet (downstairs accessed from kitchen) En-suite shower room with led mirror cabinet to double bedroom Dining area with table x2 chairs and one bench Fridge / Freezer Towels and linen are included The Cottage has a private enclosed garden with parking for two vehicles. Sorry no Electric vehicle/Scooter/Bike charging currently The cottage is around 8 miles from Caernarfon where you will find plenty of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, there are local shops (mini supermarket , takeaway shops) around 4 miles away. Local supermarkets will deliver your online grocery orders from nearby Caernarfon **Please note that Due to the location of this property a vehicle is essential** **Also the main bedroom is a mezzanine and access to the double bedroom is via the mezzanine so is not private. This property is therefore more suited to families / those who are happy sharing the space** **Sorry No Pets** Guest access Whole property with access to private garden and parking Other things to note Please read the your property section to ensure the sleeping arrangements are suitable ** No third party bookings, the booker/lead guest must supply the names of all guests on booking and must stay at the property for the duration of the holiday**
