Friendship House is the charming rock house where Little House author Laura Ingalls Wilder celebrated birthdays and other special occasions with close friends Neta and Silas Seals. Built in 1939 with encouragement of Almanzo . Mr and Mrs Seals planned a 16 rm boarding house advertising Modern rms. Friendship House is ideally located 1/2 block from Mansfield square and is 5 min to Laura Ingalls home ( 4 suites on site ) Laura, Almanzo, Neta, Silas Suite The space Upstairs, ( Silas- cozy 2 room suite open into airy central hall takes you back in time to 19930’s.
