Shepherd's Rest

Shepherds Rest is a newly refurbished and charmingly decorated 2001 registered Iveco stock lorry. Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. It has been given a new lease of life offering a slightly different glamping experience, creating a warm, cosy and inviting place to stay. Situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National park on a working hill farm. The space Positioned in a secluded spot on the farm, it accommodates up to two people where you can enjoy the company of sheep, goats and Lilly the donkey! Inside you will find a kitchen, raised double bed with storage underneath, shower room, breakfast bar with stools overlooking the mountains, Starlink WiFi & a smart TV. The kitchen is fully fitted with running hot & cold mains water, 2 ring electric hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. The front of the property has a raised decking area giving wonderful views of the mountains - great for relaxing or enjoying a drink while the sun sets. To the rear of the property there is a private patio area where guests can enjoy an outdoor heated hot tub which is perfect for either a romantic break or simply a well needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Complete with a hammock and outdoor seating area (a converted cattle and sheep feeder, keeping in theme!) it offers a true opportunity to experience nature in luxury. Strictly no smoking or vaping inside the lorry. Guest access Guests are guaranteed peace of mind with off street secure & CCTV monitored parking. Guests have access to their very own private decking and garden area. Other things to note Please note there is a short gravel path from the car park to the lorry and steps to entrance.
