The Harding House

The Harding House is nestled back in the peaceful and historic horseshoe drive of Harding Park. It is the perfect location for a stay due to its proximity to Harding’s campus (just a 3 minute walk) and its central location for the city of Searcy as a whole. Tons of off-street parking, large entertainment backyard with grill, multiple living and dining rooms, and video/board games for family and friends! Discounts for mid-term and long-term stays! The space When you come into the Harding house you are welcomed with an open, inviting living room area. There are two additional living room spaces off the main living room. One space has a piano and an indoor stone fireplace. Guests are welcome to play the piano but may not use the fireplace. The other living room area is adjacent to the dining room and kitchen. Across from the kitchen there is a walk in shower and bathroom that is easy access for guests to use. Just down from the kitchen is a fourth bedroom with its own private entrance door. This is a great space if you are sharing the home with another couple or separate family member and want a bit more privacy. The other three bedrooms are to the left of the main living room space. The master has a double bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub. The other two bedrooms have twin beds. One room has two twin beds in it and the other has a single twin bed. Each room is decorated with a fun theme for guests to enjoy. There is an additional teal, vintage style bathroom between the master bedroom and two bedrooms to the left of the main living space. Guests may not use the tub in this bathroom but are welcome to use the toilet and vanity in there. Conveniently off the guest bathroom, there is a washer and dryer that guests are permitted to use during their stay. The main living room space has a TV, a game cabinet and a DVD library. The kitchen seats 4 people at the kitchen table. Additional chairs may be pulled over to the table to accommodate more guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with baking and cooking utensils as well as dishes for eating and serving. The home has a large backyard space for guests to enjoy. It is not fenced. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and spacious front and back yard. The home sits on a large lot surrounded by trees to give a cozy feel to it. Across from the house, is beautiful Harding Park. Guests may enjoy walking around or in the park. Other things to note Discounts for mid-term and long-term stays! All initial toiletry items are provided by the host for the guest (dishwasher supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, shampoo/soap, etc.) Once the initial stock of supplies runs out, it is the guest's responsibility to purchase additional supplies. The TV has Smart App capabilities. There is not WiFi on the property. You may connect via a personal hotspot and it will allow you to sign in to your accounts so you can continue enjoying your favorite shows throughout your stay with us. The DVD Player does not require guests to connect via a hotspot. Feel free to browse the large DVD collection throughout your visit. If you will have a pet accompanying you throughout your stay in the home, we ask that pets not be left unattended. If you are not in the home, pets should be kenneled. Please refrain from pets climbing or laying on the furniture in the home. Pets must be on a leash at all times while outside. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that pet waste is picked up on a regular basis and that the yard is free of pet waste at the time of checkout.
