Description
This unique stay in Macclesfield is walking distance to the centre, the train station, the hospital, and a short drive away from the Peak District. The grade II listed building was built in 1826 as a weavers cottage, connecting it to Macclesfield’s historical silk trade, and is now a primary residence. (Note- empty when booked) Perfect for couples or small groups wanting to explore the local area, including the Peak District. The centre of Macclesfield has several shops, restaurants and pubs. The space - Two bedrooms, one with a fixed double sized bed and the other with a fold-out double bed - Large bathroom with a bathtub - Living room with a wood fire and smart TV - Dining area with extendable table - Kicthen with a fridge- freezer and gas oven/ cooker -secure back garden and larger communal garden with picnic benches Other things to note Please note that I normally live here with 2 dogs, and therefore there may be traces of dog hair around (although I will do my best to minimise this). During times when the house is booked I will be staying elsewhere. This home is also three-storey with narrow steps therefore may not be ideal for those with mobility issues.
