Villa on Ingarö

With a lakefront location, you will find this charming villa with a wood-fired sauna, pool and hot tub on top of a mountain with a secluded location. The house offers balconies in all directions with large social areas indoors and outdoors, reasonably secluded from neighbors. At a convenient distance, you will find beaches by lakes and seas, proximity to golf courses, restaurants, shops, nature reserves, hiking trails, elk safaris and various activities such as kayaking. By bus (430X), you can get to the lock in 50 minutes and by car in 35 minutes. The space The 195-square-meter villa combines modern elegance with a natural feel, located high up on a mountain on Ingarö. There is a swimming pool, a hot tub and a wood-fired sauna that creates a soothing atmosphere for relaxation and recovery. The large social areas are open and bright, with generous windows facing south and letting in plenty of daylight, while blurring the boundary between inside and outside. The kitchen and dining area are integrated into an open plan, making it easy to cook and socialize at the same time. From the kitchen there is direct access to the terrace that surrounds the house and provides the opportunity to follow the sun's path throughout the day. The bathroom also has direct access to the terrace and hot tub, and is practically connected to the sauna and its lounge area. A staircase up opens the upper floor with a bright and airy living room that serves as a quiet gathering place, regardless of the time of day. From here, you can reach three bedrooms and a spacious shower room with plenty of space. Bedrooms are decorated with soft textiles and calm colors with their own character. In the largest room there is a wide double bed of 200 cm, while the other two rooms each accommodate a 140 cm bed. In the living room, there is also a sofa bed, also 140 cm wide, which means that the house can easily accommodate up to eight guests. The rooms invite you to rest and recover – quiet, cozy and overlooking the treetops and sky. In each room there are also Dyson pillar fans that help keep the temperature comfortable. The location and design of the balcony means that it offers sun in all directions, while the house has a private and secluded feel. The carefully thought-out design of both indoor and outdoor spaces creates a sense of exclusivity and tranquility, perfect for disconnecting from everyday stress in a harmonious environment with proximity to nature. On the front, a green lawn spreads out, framed by the stillness of nature and the soft architecture of the house. There's space to gather for a game of kubb or mölkky, maybe boule or cornhole on a warm evening when the sun is still warm. The woodshed stands quietly on the edge of the plot, filled with dry wood that smells of forest and fire. Three bikes lean against the wall, ready to take you out on gravel roads and forest trails. On the terrace there are both sun beds and sun loungers – four to lie in, three to lean back in – and an extra fridge is available to keep the drinks cold when the day gets hot and long. Guest access As guests, you have access to the whole house with the exception of the study and some cabinets with personal items that will be locked. There is access to a desk (work table) and a comfortable work chair if you want to work remotely. The house is fully equipped and you are welcome to use spices etc. that you find in the kitchen. Outdoors there is a trampoline that can be used as well as two SUPs that can easily be taken down to the dock with a SUP cart Moose safari is more a rule than an exception when you go to and from the house Other things to note Please leave the house in the condition that you found it.
