Amor de Mar is a family owned, eco-friendly, small hotel located on the Montezuma River and in front of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the spectacular beachfront views and relaxing tropical atmosphere. Room #5 is a romantic room with a queen bed, A/C, safety box, private bathroom w/hot water and an ocean view balcony. The hotel's restaurant serves an à la carte breakfast menu with homemade bread, fresh tropical fruit, eggs, avocado toast, crepes and more. Breakfast IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. The space The hotel's intention is to benefit the local community and to respect the delicate ecosystem in which it resides. Amor de Mar operates on eco-friendly principles. We only use 100% biodegradable cleaning materials, dish wash and laundry soap. The bathrooms are equipped with water saving toilets and instant energy saving hot water heaters. We recycle and encourage visitors to refill their water bottles in our lobby. Amor de Mar is active in supporting many community projects such as: the recycle center, the children's orchestra, the local school, and improvement of local infrastructure. The hotel further supports the community by buying food from local providers such as eggs, fruits, jams, and smoked fish. Our organic vegetables are purchased from the local farmers market. The hotel features the work of many talented local artisans, displayed in our lamps, woodwork, decorations and mosaics. Guest access We will help you book a massage, Tortuga Island, zip-lining, surf lesson or horseback riding. Other things to note The price reflected is our base price. Depending on the season and the room of your choice, the price may be lowered or raised.
