Ideally located between Figeac and Rocamadour, it's the perfect stopover for exploring the stunning southwest region. The space Welcome to Your Stay at the Manor of Ferme de Combet You will be staying in the charming Manor of Ferme de Combet, an 18th-century organic farm nestled within a 13-hectare private estate. The estate features two houses (the cottage and the manor), two barns, and a pool, providing a serene and picturesque setting for your getaway. Historic Charm with Modern Comfort The manor, originally built in 1714, was completely renovated and beautifully decorated in 2024. Spanning approximately 200 sqm, it boasts 2 floors with 2 extensions in the north and south. Ground Floor: This area includes a spacious 60 sqm living room and dining area. First Floor: Here you'll find two cozy bedrooms en suite. North Extension: connecting to the dinning area, it features a beautiful modern kitchen South extension: accessible from outdoor only, it features 2 uniquely decorated bedrooms en suite. The manor can comfortably accommodate 10 guests. 3 to 4 additional guests may be added in the basement room if required. The bedroom arrangements are as follows: Room 1 (south extension) One 160cm bed. Room 2 (south extension): One 160cm bed. Room 3 (first floor): One 160cm bed and a floor bed of 90cm Room 4 (first floor): One 160cm bed and a floor bed of 90cm Our kitchen is designed for culinary enthusiasts, featuring a Jura coffee machine, wine fridge, induction cooktop, oven, microwave, and an extensive collection of cooking tools and electronics. You’ll have everything you need to prepare meals with the fresh, local ingredients the region is known for. Dining and Living Areas Dining: The dining table seats up to 16 guests comfortably and comes with a complete set of plates, utensils, and serving dishes. Living: a cozy set of couches facing a functional antique stove, and entertainment options including Google TV with Netflix, Molotov, and Canal. Outdoor Enjoyment Enjoy meals or lounge on the terrace, surrounded by a private garden where you can pick your own vegetables and herbs. The pool, situated below the manor, 20 meters away, is shared with the cottage (if occupied) and features salty water, a lounge deck, sunbeds, and umbrellas. You can also try your hand at mushroom picking in the lush woods Guest access Feel free to explore the expansive property and the surrounding protected forest at Ferme de Combet. Guests are welcome to enjoy trekking and biking through a network of trails and quiet roads that wind through the estate. For your convenience, 4 electric bikes are available for careful guests to borrow at no cost, offering an effortless way to explore the beautiful landscape. Barn Access Please note that access to the barns is restricted unless supervised by the hosts. This is to ensure your safety, as the barns are working spaces with tools and equipment that may pose a risk. Pool Safety The pool at Ferme de Combet is a wonderful amenity for relaxation and enjoyment, but it also requires careful attention. The pool's security is managed by an alarm system, which will be demonstrated to you upon arrival by our co-hosts. Please be aware that, while we have taken measures to ensure the pool's safety, it is still important to exercise caution, especially with children and non-swimmers. For your safety, never leave children unattended around the pool. As hosts, we are committed to maintaining the safety features of the pool, but we also ask that you take responsibility for supervising those in your party while using this facility. While we strive to provide a safe environment, please note that guests are responsible for adhering to the safety instructions provided. If you have any concerns or need further assistance, our team is here to help. Farm Operations Ferme de Combet is an active organic farm, producing a variety of vegetables and fruits. During your stay, you may encounter our friendly farmer as he goes about his daily chores. Feel free to engage with him and learn more about the farming activities, but please be mindful of the farm operations and respect any areas that are marked as off-limits for your safety. Other things to note 🗑️ Waste Management at the Farm To help us maintain a clean and eco-friendly environment, we kindly ask all guests to follow our waste sorting and disposal guidelines: ♻️ Composting A compost bucket is available in each kitchen. Please use it for fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, and other compostable waste. Once full, kindly empty it in the designated compost area behind the small barn. 🔄 Recycling All recyclable items (paper, cardboard, plastic, metal packaging) should be placed in the large bin under the kitchen sink. When full, please bring the contents to the Le Bouyssou trash station using the yellow-lid containers. ✅ Before departure, ensure all recycling bins are emptied. 🍾 Glass Glass must be sorted separately. We recommend filling a bag or box with empty glass bottles and jars. Once full, please drop them off at the glass container located at the Le Bouyssou trash station. 🗑️ Non-Recyclable Trash Smaller bins under the sinks are provided for non-recyclable waste. When full, take the bag to the brown-lid container at the Le Bouyssou trash station. 🚫 Important: Please do not leave trash outside the houses for long periods, as it may attract wild animals and insects. ✅ All trash bags must be emptied before departure.
