B&B in the center of Jordaan on the canal

Welcome to the Oost-Indische Koe! Enjoy the best that Amsterdam has to offer, everything within reach. You will stay in one of the most beautiful places on the canal in the popular neighborhood of the Jordaan. Experience what it's like to stay here, right in the city center and with the nicest shops, bars and restaurants a few minutes' walk away, in our cozy B&B of 15m2 and a spacious bathroom of 5m2. It is our honor to let you experience the charm and liveliness of Amsterdam in optima forma. The space Hi, I'm Heidi, mother of a great son and a great daughter and I work as a freelancer on fun marketing communication assignments. I love music, museums, tennis, running and going to the movies. When I bought our house, it was a wreck. It was quite a job, and like all construction projects, it took a lot longer than planned, but I am still happy and grateful every day to live in our wonderful cottage. Our B&B is called "De Oost-Indische Koe" (The East Indian Cow). That's because historical research showed that the houses used to have no numbers, but had signs hanging out. And at our cottage, there was a sign with, you guessed it, an East Indian cow. I will be your hostess along with my friend Peter. We love to help our guests discover our great city of Amsterdam. We will therefore do everything we can to offer you a great stay. THE SPACE Through a private entrance, you walk down the stairs into the B&B. We only share the front door and a hall, which gives access to the B&B. You can completely lock the space with your own key that we will give you at check-in. It is a nice space, with Delft Blue as inspiration for the interior. The spacious double bed has a wonderfully thick mattress and is foldable to make the most of the space. Behind the bed is a reading lamp, so you don't have to get out of bed to turn off the light when you go to sleep. There is a pantry with a ceramic plate and gold-colored details such as the faucet and sink. Here you will find a Nespresso machine, a milk frother, a kettle and of course cups and tea bags with milk and sugar. There is also a refrigerator in the pantry. There are two chairs and a table, and you can store your luggage under the stairs. Towels are provided in the spacious bathroom, and there are bottles of shampoo and conditioner that you can use. Behind a wide glass door is a rain shower where you can put your shower items in a recess. In the sink is an oval basin with a gold faucet. Of course there is free WiFi and there is underfloor heating for a pleasant temperature. Guest access The B&B is completely private and is only used by yourself. During your stay During your stay, you can reach us directly, by phone and via app. Other things to note Our B&B can accommodate two people. Feel free to contact us for any further information.
