The space The cabin offers: -2 bedrooms, a master and smaller bedroom, with an additional pullout Queen bed in the living room. -A fully stocked kitchen with silverware, plates, and glasses. -A full range electric stove, Fridge/Freezer, microwave, air-fryer, kettle, and coffee maker. -A large living room with room for friends and family to enjoy time together -Washer and Dryer -A cute and fully functioning bathroom with shower and tub. -An indoor fireplace to enjoy -Record player with numerous vinyl records for easy listening. -Board games, and books -Dining area with capacity to seat 5-6 people. -Drinking water provided via stocked water cooler. The backyard offers: - BBQ's, one large with searing function. -A patio with conversation furniture and lighting. -A secondary outdoor dining area. -Large backyard -Firepit to sit around and enjoy. You are welcome to bring your own if you wish to enjoy a fire. The cabin is minutes walk away from the lake. Nestled away from the busy beachfront, yet very close to enjoy a peaceful lake visit. Alberta Beach offers many activities that you can indulge in such as, long walking and biking trails, quad trails, beach activities, kayaking and canoe access. In the winter, you can partake in ice fishing, cross country skiing, skating etc. Guest access PLEASE TEXT/CALL in case I have not contacted you by 2PM on the check in date for door code. All other communications have to be made through the portal. Thank you. Guests may use the entire cabin with the exception of the blue shed in the backyard and the area where the firewood is stored. Vehicles/campers cannot be plugged into the cabin. Vehicles or Campers are not allowed anywhere in the front or back yard other than in the front driveway to the left of the cabin. Other vehicles may be parked on the street in the front adjacent to the tree line. Other things to note GUESTS PLEASE READ THE CHECK IN DETAILS CAREFULLY> THE front DOOR is a bit temperamental due to the cold weather, SO PLEASE PULL AND HOLD IT TIGHTLY TOWARDS YOU TO OPEN AND CLOSE. If you done it will not open or lock properly. I emphasize this as I get a LOT of text messages that can be easily avoided. ALSO, you can do laundry if you want to but as mentioned in my rules, you can leave the bed linen and towels for us. Please be aware that we do not offer Wi-Fi or a radio. A record player with a few records are available for your disposal. Please handle the machine delicately. Kindly do not change the setting or the connections. If you wish to watch your own movies, please make sure that you bring your cable to connect to the TV and your device Additionally, any extra guest, other than those mentioned in the guest request has to be approved by the host prior to them staying at the cabin. Otherwise, there will be extra charges that may incur. Also there is discoloration in the sink. this is not preventable as it is from hard well water. Most houses in Alberta Beach are serviced by well water. Water softener is installed yet it leaves stains. Drinking water jug is provided to guests. We are no longer providing Fire wood to guests due to misuse by some. So please bring your own firewood. It is with great sadness that we have taken this decision. We offer just enough coffee pods; sugar; salt and pepper; coffemate. We offer towels; linens etc to make your stay comfortable. Please also note that this is a cabin. It has all of the amenities but we have maintained it as a "cabin" with its rustic beauty so that our guests have the same experiences that we enjoy here. If you are expecting a 5 star resort , then this is not the one for you. If you and your friends/family want to enjoy a cosy getaway to a cabin, then come experience this peaceful getaway!
