That said, there are two lanes going southbound, and two lanes going northbound. On occasion, heavier traffic travels through highway in the front of the cottage, and the highway sounds may be increased. You may consider bringing along ear plugs to prevent this issue. Our home was built on land that was once filled with cotton fields as far as the eye could see and now is a quiet country neighborhood. We have an amazing School System where I’ve had 3 children graduate from already. Several churches nearby of many faiths. Parking is in our driveway just 20’ from the private cottage. Bring your bikes and put in on the trails just 3 miles away. The Tanglefoot Trail ride from New Albany-Houston, MS is only 44 miles. Shuttle fee is $50.00 (for the 88 miles driven) and only available when TJ is able to complete shuttle. Please check with him before booking. Tupelo Airport just 20-25 minutes away. While we have a no animal policy due to my wife’s severe allergens, (anaphylactic) we have made provisions for animals to be kenneled on the front porch of the cottage. If need be, we can have the kennels stay beneath our covered back patio too. Please check with us anytime.
