Cozy, fully furnished apt. located in a quiet nbhd near hiking, biking, golf, water sports, and restaurants. Perfect for remote work. Access to Hwy 1 makes the apt a good base for exploring the region's great wineries, craft breweries, surfing, shopping and art. I am the owner and live on-site with my old Shihtzu, Panda. My goal is for you to have a refreshing stay along California's Central Coast. I love being a host, so I'm happy to meet you, take questions, and suggest new discoveries. The space The apartment is an airy, private 400 sq ft space with its own separate entrance. Space includes: Bedroom with queen bed, dresser, lamps, closet, and smart TV; Combined kitchen/living area with full-size fridge, stacking washer/dryer, AC and heat, wall-mount electric fireplace, desk, large closet, dishes and various countertop appliances for easy meal prep. Bath with toilet, pedestal sink, stall shower, fluffy towels, and 2 storage cupboards. Outdoor dining area also included. Guest access Guests have full access to the apartment, generous offstreet parking area in front of the picket fence, the covered outdoor dining area with glasstop table, and the gravel walkway back to the Airbnb unit. Full access inside the unit includes: all furnishings in the bedroom; all cupboards, closet, furnishings and appliances in the kitchen/living area; and the full bathroom. During your stay I love meeting my guests right from the first text or e-mail. I like to find out a little more about you so I can be the knowledgeable and gracious host you need to make your stay a success. I try to give my guests whatever they may need in the way of information about the area, but I also love hearing about your adventures trying out new discoveries while you are here. Because my Airbnb apartment is set up for longer-term stays, most of my guests have been working on-line from the apartment or commuting to hospital jobs in San Luis Obispo or near Atascadero. I try to take my cues for guest interaction from the guests themselves--for example sharing information about good local restaurants or upcoming local events of interest--but I also try to respect my guests' privacy and comfort if they prefer to keep more to themselves, or perhaps need to sleep during the day. Other things to note The apartment is located in "The Heights" at the south end of Morro Bay, very near both the State Park Golf Course, and the hike up Black Hill for panoramic views of the Bay. From your apt you will be only a 15-20 minute walk downhill to most everything else Morro Bay has to offer--shopping, dining, water sports, etc. Mornings and evenings can be cool, so be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes and a fleece jacket to join the many daily walkers you'll see everywhere in Morro Bay. Bring a bike and challenge yourself to longer rides along the Embarcadero and out to Morro Rock to enjoy the otters and sea birds.
