Cosy Shepherd’s Hut Tucked Away in a Apple Orchard

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Enjoy a peaceful shepherds hut glamping stay in the Kent countryside, just off the B2027 near Hever and Penshurst. Step straight onto public footpaths for scenic walks and traditional country pubs. The private hut features a log burner, fire pit/BBQ (logs provided) and a private hot shower. Chickens and bees nearby — very friendly! Jessops farm Studios runs art workshops, google: weekendarting The space The hut is up some steps and has a small balcony to sit and watch the chickens. There is a BBQ and log burner out front for your private use. We provide logs and charcoal. The outdoor compost loo is very clean on the ground floor but up a step. The hut has a small log burner for cosy nights. You are welcome to use the garden and wonder off into the countryside. Bring boots! No cooking inside the hut but we provide plates and cutlery for your bbq. There are some great local pubs and cafes for food. The Orchard hut is a really lovely place to come and stay! You are more than welcome. Guest access You can park in the parking area. Use the 4 acres of Garden. Feel free to use the fire pit and BBQ: charcoal, logs and fire starters are included! Other things to note Our chickens are kept in a run, with a weak electric fence, rather than free-ranging, and they’re very friendly and chatty! We also have bees, but they’re situated away from the hut and are completely non-aggressive. The Hut is up a narrow set of stairs. The toilet is a separate eco Loo. We have an en-suite shower in the hut with warm water though! Keep in mind we are off the B2027 sometimes the road gets busy. There is an art school in the main house and we run art classes, sometimes the car park gets busy, we will always make sure you have space to park though.
