The Garden Chalet Coffinswell Torquay

Take it easy at this small, cosy, unique and tranquil getaway. Yet only a ten min drive to the seaside, & Torbay hospital. Torquay & its beaches are on our doorstep. Many places to eat, even the Michelin star restaurant, The Elephant, by Torquay Harbour. Cockington Village , The Drum Inn welcomes dogs. Shaldon is Charismatic, with The Ness Pub. Teignmouth has a dog friendly beach. The Barn Owl Inn , 20 min walk. The Linny, 5 mins walk..Hare & Hounds. carvery in Kingskerswell, dog friendly. The space A small, stone and cob Chalet. cosy and bespoke.. No kitchen. , but a kettle, toaster, small microwave and fridge are there for your comfort. ADULTS ONLY PLEASE Oak beams on show. WIFI Available. Rooms have been separated by partial height dividers, leaving the beams exposed. see pictures. Double patio doors, lead into garden, and patio area. We are less than a 5 min walk from The Linny, but only open from Wednesdays to Sundays. Closed Bank Holidays. Unfortunately, nowadays, they are not dog friendly...However, Please contact them, and they may say yes.🐕 Choice of places to eat and drink, near by though. 👍 We recommend The Barn Owl Inn, Kingskerswell. Dog friendly, and have a garden. walkable too, 2omins from here, or less if younger than us😉 Food and service Good. The Hare & Hounds , kingskerswell, have carvery most days, and is most enjoyable, and are dog friendly. but The Linny is excellent for Sunday lunch. The main cottage, is down some steps, which is a few meters from the Chalet. The chalet is on the upper part of the garden, with its own private access, from the drive. From the drive , there is one step down into the garden. The drive is 15 metres uphill from the cottage, which is a grade 11 listed cottage and is in a cheerful bright pink, so easily seen in the village. Guest access The drive to yourselves, step down into our top garden, including use of patio tables and chairs, seat pads inside chalet, under fridge. Our garden and Chalet are not suitable for children,infants of any age. Adults only please.. PLEASE KEEP DOG ON A LEAD in the garden, as we have Billie the cat! AND spiky 🪴 plants....However, Plenty of walking in and around the village, with lots of birds singing... Benches & Lovely views . Torch may be handy, as no streetlights😌 Other things to note Please have your DOG ON A LEAD in our garden, as spiky plants, and Billie the naughty cat may be there, and also please take your dog for a walk for their business.🐕‍🦺 thankyou so much... Please don't leave a dog on its own in the chalet. .🐾😉 The Linny in the village is open from Wednesday to Sunday . Closed all Bank Holidays.. And not dog friendly, but can eat and drink outside .However, ring them, as they may say yes...They let our previous guests inside with their well behaved dog.🙂Travel a little out of the village, and a choice of places to eat and drink are close by. 👍 We recommend The Barn Owl Inn, Kingskerswell. About five min walk, from outside Coffinswell. They are like in their own bubble and have a garden, dog friendly, good pub food and approx 20 min walk from here. Quicker, if younger than us😉. Open Tuesdays to Sundays..From noon..... However, The Linny serve an excellent Sunday Lunch, better than The Barn Owl, especially the beef, as they have their own cattle on their farm. Ask them if they will take your well behaved dog🐕 The Hare & Hounds , Kingskerswell , do a carvery most days and a fab main menu and are dog friendly. 5 min drive. they get busy! Sunday Lunch is excellent there, as carvery is amazing. Just turn left from village, onto main road, Torquay Road, and travel 5 mins in car. A really nice pub.
