Up North Oasis | Families & Dogs in Bayfield Area

This Up North Oasis is blocks from Lake Superior beaches and 10 miles from Bayfield or Ashland. Gather around the kitchen island, share meals in the large dining room, relax in the spacious living room & handle business in the office space with WiFi. Outdoor front porch with rocking chairs and the fenced-in backyard has beach sand, firepit, and a propane grill on the deck. This house is ready for big groups & the joyful rumpus only dogs & kids can bring to the party. The space The kitchen has most of the utensils, pots & pans, bowls, and baking sheets you'd need to prepare food. In addition to the usual appliances there is also a toaster, blender, and crockpot. We also offer locally roasted coffee beans and tea next to the coffee grinder, coffee pot, and hot water kettle. The sun flows over the floor in the living room all day and our dogs love laying in the sun as the day goes by. The large dining room can accommodate eight chairs and is great for having a large meal together. Our office space has an ink-jet printer with paper, basic office supplies, and fast WiFi. You can work from here and take meetings from the privacy of the bedrooms, all have a small desk. NOTE: All three bedrooms are upstairs while both bathrooms are on the main floor. If stairs would be an issue for bathroom trips during the night, then you may want to look for a different accommodation option. Outside there's a fenced in yard and deck with a propane grill for you to use. A fire pit to hang around and a covered front porch with rocking chairs. We love dogs! There are multiple dog beds for your beloved pooch to snooze and hang out with the gang. Move the dog beds around the house to make sure they're always a part of the fun. In addition to dog beds we also provide an assortment of dog bowls, toys, waste scoops and bags, and a kennel. Note that dogs are not allowed upstairs where the bedrooms are located though you are welcome to sleep on the sofa bed if they feel more comfortable with a human nearby. Other things to note Do be aware: - All bedrooms are upstairs and both bathrooms are on the main floor (though there is a secure handrail). If stairs during the night would be an issue then this is not the right place for you. - This is a small town. On some days, there may be limited walkable dining options.
