Peaceful Montreat Mountain Retreat

New Construction, Located in Montreat***Take a break from the real world in our newly constructed, peaceful mountain retreat. Relax on the porch and listen to the soothing sounds of Flat Creek and Little Slaty. Our house is only steps away from one of the most popular hikes in Montreat, Graybeard Trailhead, and a wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy beautiful views of the treetops from the great room and spend family time around the ping pong table. This light airy house has something for everyone! The space The main floor features a master bedroom with a king size bed, TV, closet and adjoining master bath. A second bedroom on the main floor includes a queen bed, large walk in closet, and full bath that also opens to the hall. The second floor has a bedroom with a queen bed, spacious closet, full hall bath and loft area with a queen sleeper sofa and ping pong table. The house also features a great room with a large dining table and a full kitchen. The laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer. The porch has a four-burner gas grill and comfortable seating. Guest access Entire House Other things to note This house does include steps. There are about 15 steps up to the porch but the back door only has 3 steps that can accommodate most people. The hot water is via an on demand system so you may have to run the water a minute before it gets hot. BEARS are everywhere so please....no food left on the porch or anywhere outside. Not even in your car. Trash is to be bagged, tied off, and placed in the Bear Box down the drive way. Trash goes in white trash bags and recycling goes in Blue bags, both are under the sink. The recycling is mixed so no need to separate, it can all go in the blue bag and then placed in the Bear Box. Be sure to latch the trash each time. For liability purposes, the gas fireplace is for owner use only. Due to damage from the hurricane, several trails and Robert Lake Park remain closed at this time.
