MiraMar: Marietas House 1, Oceanside

Yelapa is a vacationer’s hideaway that can only be reached by boat. Today it remains an escape from the norm and an opportunity for authentic adventure travel to a naturally beautiful Mexican village. Most famous for its waterfalls and beach the cobblestone paths, jungle fauna, and quaint restaurants and stores further add to Yelapa's charm. The space MiraMar is located on the village side of Yelapa. Casa Marietas 1 is a one bedroom haven with stairs to the ocean and beach immediately below. People who stay here love the hammock and great view. This house is a destination perfect for adventure travelers who are looking to experience Yelapa in accommodations which are fully enclosed. Centrally located the house is a 10min walk to the main beach or a 5min walk to town. All our accommodations are houses complete with kitchen, bathroom, dining table, bed, closet space, and private patio with furniture. We have a queen bed and a built-in couch (does not pull out) in this house. Please let us know if your party is 3 people. We offer fully enclosed, comfortable accommodations here. And the views at our places are really hard to beat. We provide fast and reliable internet. Air conditioning Info: Only available at night during the low season (May - Oct) beginning around 7 or 8pm. Turned off in the morning. Not available during the day so head to the beach and enjoy a swim. Not available during the high season (Nov - April) as weather is most ideal this time of year. If you require air conditioning outside of these hrs, there is a daily additional fee of $25 USD. Guest access We also have a very large rooftop patio where you can socialize and BBQ if you like. We use it for hosting events from time to time as well! It is hilly in Yelapa with lots of cobblestones paths and uneven stairs. Other things to note There are no banks or ATMs in Yelapa and almost no one accepts credit cards. Cash is king so plan accordingly. Pesos for eating out, groceries, souvenirs. Dollars for activities tend to be preferred. We provide filtered water in our houses. We offer top rated boat excursions with MiraMar Excursions, so let us know if you want to get out on the water. We can set up massages, paragliding, horseback riding, and other fun activities too. They can accept credit card payments for boat activities. All other things will need to be paid in cash. We can stock beer in your house for your arrival if you like. Options are Corona, Pacifico (case of 24 for $35/case) or Negro Modelo (case of 12 for $35/case).
