The edge of the woods

The gîte is located at the foot of the Col de Faye, on the edge of the Beynon forest, which marks the entrance to the Parc des Baronnies Provençales. Located in the north/west wing of an old sheepfold that we completely renovated in 2024, in a unique landscape. It's the perfect place to explore the surroundings and come and relax! Very easy to access from the highway exit. 37 km from Gap, 27 km from Sisteron, 19 km from Tallard and 13 km from Laragne Montéglin. The space The accommodation, entirely on one level, is composed of a beautiful bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190) plus a single bed (80 x 200), a bathroom and a large covered terrace that doubles the area of the accommodation by hosting its very well-equipped summer kitchen and dining and relaxation area. It also has its own private garden arranged in 2 terraces lined with Virginia hydrangeas in the shade of the oaks of the Beynon forest. Guest access All parts of the accommodation described in the listing are reserved for you. Only the parking lot, swimming pool and washing machine room are shared. Other things to note The summer of 2024 marks the completion of two and a half years of major restoration work. We still have the surroundings to finish, new plants to plant, the already idyllic place, will therefore continue to become more beautiful over time. We wanted to carry out a restoration that was as environmentally friendly as possible. We therefore focused on the choice of sustainable materials and very good insulation. Our sanitation system is ecological (a reed bed), we collect rainwater in a 10,000L tank, and we have installed solar panels.
