Newer cabin from 2019 at Garen in Eidfjord, close to Vøringsfossen, with easy access to Hardangervidda. This is a suitable place for families looking for a peaceful holiday in scenic surroundings. The outdoor area is sunny and well suited for enjoying outdoor activities or relaxing moments. There are nice hiking trails directly from the cabin and fishing opportunities in nearby rivers and mountain lakes. The space 1st floor: Spacious hallway, bright living room with fireplace, kitchen with dining table, fridge, dishwasher, stove and hob, 2 bathrooms with shower, bedroom with bunk bed (can be pulled out to 2 places down) and bedroom with double bed (150 cm). 2nd floor: 1 bedroom with double bed (can be pulled apart to two single beds). 1 bedroom with 1 bed and a mattress. Cozy TV room with sofa (possible to pull out sofa for two beds). Other: Parking by the cabin. No smoking in the cabin. No pets allowed. Other things to note The cabin is located on Garen at the entrance to Hardangervidda. The cabin is located on a large undisturbed plot in a newer cabin area. Here you have many opportunities summer and winter. Prepared ski slopes right outside the cabin and a few minutes to the alpine slope in Sysendalen. There are great conditions for hiking inwards into the plateau on foot and on skis. Here you can pick cloudberries, fish in the river nearby. Fishing license in the convenience store or online. Great bike trails. Vøringsfossen. Swimming in Eidfjord. Shops nearby; Maurset Landhandel (about 5 km away) Garen Camping (about 2 km away) is a campsite with an associated shop.
