Relax with the whole family at this is all-season property: sauna, swimming, boating, hiking & quadding in the summer, hunting in the fall, & ice fishing, snowmobiling in the winter. All year long fish for natural rainbow trout and Kokanee. We are 50km down a gravel road in the wilderness. No cell service (wi-fi in the lodge) & no electricity in the cabins. Like camping but with a comfy bed and we supply the gear! Flush toilets & hot showers are a short walk to the wash house and the lodge. The space This is a rustic 100% off-grid experience! SLEEPING: The cabin has two bedrooms separated by curtains from the living space and features: One queen One double One double futon HEATING/COOKING: There is a wood stove for heat and cooking and wood is supplied and cold running water in the summer months. A wood burning BBQ is available for use. BATHROOMS: Flush toilets and hot showers are available in the wash house steps away in the summer and in the lodge in the other months. ELECTRICITY: The cabins have no electricity. We can supply chargeable lights for the cabin. Please bring your own flashlights if you have one. WATER FUN: The cabin is RIGHT ON THE WATER and in the summer we have dock for jumping off or launching a boat. We have kayaks, floaties and paddle boards available on a first come first served basis. Boat rental with 6.5 HP motor also available for $99 a day. Ice fishing is excellent in the winter. WE PROVIDE: All your bedding and towels, dishes, cups, mugs, cutlery, cooking pots and some utensils. Small chargeable lights for the cabins, an axe, soap and dishwashing supplies. Firewood and water (from the lake) for washing is provided. YOU NEED TO BRING: Food, drinking water, and personal items such as toiletries. There is no fridge so you will need to bring a cooler with ice for your perishables. Town is an hour away. CHECK-OUT: We will take care of garbage and recycling. Pets permitted with a $35 pet fee per pet, per night. Guest access We are located 50 km down a logging road and we advise access only by 4-wheel drive vehicles although many cars have made it in the summer. In the winter, access is by the same road but it is an ice road. Drivable but slippery. We request that you call/email when you hit the gravel road 50 km away so we know when to expect you. You have access to the lodge property, lake, dock, trails, grass area and kayaks/floaties/paddle boards when available. Boat rental available with gas for $99 per day. Other things to note We are deep in the BC wilderness surrounded by trees and lakes and wildlife. This is the ultimate experience for those who want to be close to nature and the austerity of British Columbia but have the comfort of wifi and hosts nearby. We do not have any cell service but you can access wi-fi for calling, messaging, checking in, checking email etc. at the lodge and around the grounds. There are seven other cabins that are rentable on site so there is likely other people around. The cabins do not have electricity (and no fridge) and only have cold running water in the summer. Flush toilets and hot showers are available steps away in the wash house and lodge. The cabins are very rustic but have new comfortable beds and a stove for heating and cooking.
