Patio with roof of about 16 sqm and extra seating area with barbecue area. Drinking water in water tank. Well water for washing dishes, shower and toilet. Bed linen and towels are included, or rented for SEK 75/pers The space On the property there is a main house in addition to Lillstugan. The main house is used as a vacation home by owners. Guest access The guest cabin is rented from April to October. Guests use the entire guest cabin, conservatory, barbecue place and lawn in front of the cabin. A retro women's bike with basket is available. Check the tires, and pump in air if needed. Private parking for 1-2 cars on the lawn just in front of the cabin. Some information: Lillstugan is a cosy cottage on the property Myrens väg 35, Strömstad (on the island of Rossö). It is about 35 m2 including a storage room where there are one to two bicycles for free use. Pillows for the outdoor furniture are in the stall if they are not already in place in the furniture. Due to cats in the area, we tend to hang the chair cushions over the chair ridges at night and when we leave the cabin. In the stall there is a fuse box and hot water tank as well as a tap for tapping well water for possible watering. Adjacent to the cabin there is an outdoor room of about 16 m2 with transparent plastic roofs. Here it is nice to eat breakfast/dinner, sit to read, play, etc., and then it is nice to sit there in the evening with candles. There are curtains/reed curtains in the openings that can advantageously be pulled down in the evening, so the mosquito will stay away. Feel free to use the mosquito coils that are available as well. They are effective, especially if put on the ground on a bowl with metal holder. There is a charcoal grill for the use of the tenant. It must be placed outside the plastic roof when used. The grill grate is cleaned after use. Please bring charcoal. There are concrete slabs both in the conservatory and outside throughout the length of the cabin. There is therefore plenty of space to sunbathe or sit in the furniture outside the conservatory. A living wall has been built against the main house to shield from wind and visibility. Parking space with space for 1-2 cars in front of the small cottage, with a driveway from Myrens väg. Inside the cabin there are: - Entrance hall with shelf/hooks, dresser, mirror and a wardrobe about 1 meter. - Small bathroom with toilet, shower, washbasin and small closet with mirror, hooks for towels etc. Window for ventilation when showering. - Kitchen with dining table and 4 chairs, fridge with small freezer, studio stove with two hot plates and small oven, kitchen decor with cabinets, drawers, sink, sink and bucket cabinet. The kitchen is equipped with various kitchen utensils, glasses, cups, dishes and kettles. There is a coffee maker, kettle, TV pot and waffle iron. - A combined living room with Ekenäs sofa bed and bunk bed. The couch is nice to crawl up on to watch TV. Please feel free to use the throws that are freshly laundered. There is a flat screen TV (not smart TV) and sound system with DVD player/radio. There are no tv channels but own PC can be connected via HDMI. Two small glass cabinets with various wine glasses, bowls, books, etc. Bedside tables and reading lamps. - A bed drawer for storing duvets and pillows. There are items sheets on the bunk beds and on the mattress on the sofa bed. There are summer duvets and pillows for 4-5 people in the cabin as well as equipment for the travel bed if it is desired to use it. Bed linen and towels can be brought, possibly rented for NOK 75 per set/person. Please water There is a private well that supplies the small cottage with water for the shower, toilet and sink, etc. We pick up drinking water from Rossö harbor – tap at the guest docks. We will make sure that a 20 litre jug is filled with fresh water for guests. The cabin will be handed over to you in a clean condition. Final cleaning is not included in the rental price and must be provided by the landlord. Can be purchased for SEK 500. The cabin is handed over with freshly laundered floors and carpets that are toasted. There are mattress covers in the bunk bed. Toilet and washbasin are washed. And it is wiped/washed of all surfaces on shelves, tables and benches etc. Mop and long broom + vacuum cleaner are in the laundry closet. The fridge with freezer is cleaned and wiped down and set to the lowest strength upon departure. Garbage is put in a garbage can outside the fence on the plot. There is the garbage can on the far left marked with no. 35, i.e. closest to Myrens väg. NB. There is a separate container for food waste. The food waste is collected in your own paper bags found in the kitchen cabinet. They are thrown into a brown food waste bin marked with the number 35. There is a garbage container in the harbor that can be used if the garbage can should be full. Other things to note Rossö Port: The shop (Rossöboden) is open from 0900 – 2200 every day during the summer weeks from midsummer to mid-August. Reduced opening hours outside of peak season. The store has most of what you need. It has its own section for pizza and kebabs and other take away food. Own outside dining. The store is the agent of the system company. Poles must be ordered on the system company's website by 2 pm on Wednesday at 2pm for pick up on Friday or Saturday. Kosterhavets National Park cafe/visitor center. The harbor cafe is open everyday during the high season, with good small plates and beer/wine service. There are allover nights/live music on the dock several times during peak summer. There is a nice and popular beach at the end of the harbor with sun from early in the morning, and evening sun. Other beaches There are many nice beaches on the island and also nice rocks both on Kockholmen and along the water south of Garvik Camping. You can choose the beach based on the wind conditions. It is recommended to take trips to several sides of the island as there are many nice places, beaches, rocks and hiking trails. Garvik Camping is a campsite with several sandy beaches. At low tide it is possible to wade over to Lygnholmen. There is a path from Rossöhamn to Paradisbukten just before Garvik. The salt pan. Nice shallow sandy beach that looks out to Kosterhavet. You can wade over to a small islet outside the beach. Nice and newly built playground about 5-600 meters from the cabin. Bicycle roads. It is cozy to bike on the island. We have discovered a network of forest trails to bike/walk. Maps are hanging on the wall in the cabin. Train: Departure from Överby (the nearest station 7 km away) or Strömstad. Local trains that go to, among other things, Uddevalla and Gothenburg. The waters around Rossö is an eldorado for paddlers, both in the inner trail towards Strömstad and south towards Resö and in the archipelago that faces out to Kosterhavet.
