Originally, these characteristic buildings made of clay and straw were used for wine storage. Our Kellerstöckl, on the other hand, are built from clay and wood chips, as wood regulates the heat better – both in summer and in winter. This is exactly what creates this special "Kellerstöckl feeling": a feeling of comfort.
