The space This ground-floor apartment, renovated in 2024, offers a chic and bright setting, with a 9-foot ceiling, large windows with transoms, and blue-gray doors that add character. The living room invites you to relax with its two-seater leather sofa, two bergère armchairs, and 50-inch TV, while an entrance wardrobe adds a practical touch. The elegant, fully equipped kitchen has an 18 cubic foot refrigerator, glass-ceramic stove, and built-in dishwasher. To facilitate the preparation of meals, you will also find a toaster, a Keurig coffee maker, an electric kettle, a blender, a hand mixer, an electric fondue dish, and a rice cooker. A spacious pantry completes this space. The two cozy bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, wardrobes and blackout curtains, guarantee peaceful nights. The modern bathroom includes a 36-inch corner shower and a heated towel rail for extra comfort. The closed office is perfect for teleworking with its desk, computer screen, and 1 Gbps wired Ethernet connection. This versatile space also hides a stacked washer and dryer, small wall cabinets and a folding table, allowing for a quick transformation into a laundry room. A 12,000 BTU heat pump provides air conditioning in summer and pleasant heating in winter. Outside, the terrace equipped with an electric barbecue, a table, two chairs, and adorned with a light garland, creates a friendly atmosphere for evenings. A dedicated parking space is accessible at the back, perfectly complementing this apartment designed for an extended and comfortable stay. Guest access Guests have access to the entire space on the ground floor, including all indoor rooms, the terrace, and a parking space in the back. Please note that the basement, shed, and upstairs accommodation are not accessible during your stay. Other things to note We only accept stays of 31 nights or more. The apartment is on the ground floor. There are two steps outside to access the front and back door. The interior of the building fully reflects its period character. Floors may crack slightly and have slopes typical of old buildings. The original windows sometimes let a little air filter through, adding to the authentic charm of the apartment. Since the building is not soundproofed, sounds are easily transmitted between the apartments, whether they are footsteps or voices. This feature contributes to the unique atmosphere of a heritage building, but may not be suitable for travelers looking for a very quiet environment or families with young children. The traffic lane leading to the rear parking lot is narrower than normal, as it was designed before the advent of the automobile. It's important to drive with caution. It is not possible to make a U-turn in the parking lot: you have to enter from the front and back up to exit, or back up to enter and exit from the front. The building, with its period charm, is located on Maguire Avenue, where shops are a little further away, but many pedestrians pass in front of the building throughout the day. It is also possible to sometimes hear the sounds of the neighborhood and passers-by, as well as the city bus that passes regularly. For those looking for an ultra-quiet environment, this lively location may not be suitable. To make your arrival more comfortable, an inventory of consumables is already in place: toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, detergent and fabric softener, garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher capsules, cleaning products, hand soap, shower gel, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, oil, salt, pepper and some basic spices. In medium-term rentals, we operate according to a chain of kindness: each guest replaces what they consume so that the next one finds the same level of supply. These products are used to help you out when you arrive and to maintain everyone's comfort. The cleaning fee only covers cleaning after your departure. You are responsible for keeping the apartment clean and in good condition during your stay. If you'd like housekeeping service during your stay, additional fees will apply.
