An oasis away from work, but close enough for convenience. Tucked away in a cul-de-sac with large grown-in trees to provide a cool shade. There's a reading nook, an open space dining area and livingroom, a coffee bar, a movie area, front porch for morning coffee under the tree, and a large backyard to sit and relax. In your private bedroom, you have a desk, a remote control floor lamp, personal heater, closet space and a private bathroom down the hall with a tub. Please note: there are stairs. The space The shared spaces are nicely divided to give you privacy. Two smart TVs available. A large backyard and a quiet porch if you enjoy hanging out outside Coffee/Tea available. I have no pets. The basement has a separate TV/movie room with surround sound and space for yoga or bodyweight exercise. In-unit washer/dryer available. I'm available on-site and engage with guests as much or as little as you would like. Shared area is cleaned weekly. To assist with maintaining cleanliness, I do request guests to remove their shoes upon entering the house. Guest access You will have access to: 1. Private Guest bedroom - bath and face towels available. 2. Private Guest Bathroom with ceiling Bluetooth speaker for you to connect your playlist to relax while you shower (or soak) after a long day. 3. Livingroom - Smart TV with some guest available subscriptions. 4. Dining room - Coffee/Tea station available 5. Reading area - books available to borrow 6. Kitchen - refrigerator space and pantry space available 7. Basement movie/yoga/TV area - Smart TV with DVD movies and some guest available subscriptions. 8. Laundry room 9. Front porch 10. Backyard During your stay I am available on-site or just a message away, if not. I engage with guests as much or as little as you would like. I welcome conversations, but also understand the need for self time to disengage after a long day. Other things to note The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Working out: Planet Fitness is within walking distance as well as a community park (High Park) with jogging trails and lakes. Conveniently located to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. Check-in time is flexible. Please do communicate any preferences or needs and I will do my best to accommodate. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly. Mattress is a memory foam mattress with a mattress cover and bedsheets, which I apply fabric disinfectant after washing. You'll have black out curtains to allow you to sleep during the day if you work night shifts. Multiple types of pillows so you can find what's most comfortable for you. Only one room rented out in the house. The only other occupant is myself so you don't have to deal with other strangers roaming about.
