There is a large, sunny kitchen, dining room, sun room and comfortable office with printer and scanner if you need to work. There are 100's of books from linguistics to vintage Science Fiction to global economics. Good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. The space The house has multiple windows so lots of natural light and displays lots of local art. There is a large cleared garden with an ornamental wishing well and a tree swing. You can relax on the floating dock and watch the beavers and ducks or try dropping a fishing line. The spacious room overlooking the river has an ensuite with shower, small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and kerig as well as dishes and cutlery. There is also a large walk in wardrobe. Guest access Guests have access to everywhere in the house except our personal bedroom. During your stay My husband and I are happy to help our guests in any way we can. Other things to note Breakfast is basic cereal, yoghurt, home-made bread, toast and tea/coffee We have collected a number of brochures on local attractions and reviews of local restaurants and places of interest. We have plenty of sample toiletries in case you forget to pack them. In response to COVID-19 we have taken extra measures to clean and sanitise the room between guests. In addition I am an official Justice of the Peace for Civil Weddings in Nova Scotia. Providing you have a Marriage Licence, I can conduct your wedding ceremony on our premises or wherever you fancy.
