Pull down a secluded private road to discover a cozy one-bedroom cabin that perfectly blends comfort with nature. Cabin: The charming retreat features a comfortable queen bed with a built in electric fireplace. Enjoy relaxing after a day exploring nature or the local village of Hobart. Through the next room is a well-appointed bathroom with a toilet and stand up shower for ease and comfort. The other side of the cabin features a private bunk area, ideal for children or guests under 5'6 (they are 66"x33"). Step outside to an outdoor kitchen, complete with a flattop Blackstone grill and prep area, a plumbed sink with hot and cold water, a mini fridge, and a picnic table for meals. Its perfect for al fresco dining while taking in the fresh air. The cabin is nestled near a tranquil pond, providing a serene backdrop for reflection and recreation. A scenic trail leads to a stunning viewing platform that showcases the breathtaking vistas of the Catskills. Whether you're sipping coffee at dawn or enjoying a sunset, this platform offers an unparalleled vantage point to savor the natural beauty surrounding you. This cabin is the perfect escape for those seeking a peaceful getaway with stunning views and a harmonious connection to the outdoors. We do provide fishing poles, basic tackle, nets for catching frogs, children's life vests (located under the bed), flashlights, etc. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property; cabin, pond, firepit, viewing platform. We ask that guests respect the neighbors and please stick to the area from the private drive, around the pond, and to the viewing platform. Other things to note This is a true glamping experience. This cabin, set off the grid, combines the allure of nature with contemporary comforts, featuring amenities like a bathroom with a stand up shower and toilet. The property, kitchen, and cabin have electricity and plumbed running water. We ask that guests bring potable water for drinking and cooking. Showering and dishes are fine with our water. There is wood available for purchase on site at $$8a bundle. This can be purchased on site. We do provide Firestarters and stick lighters. There is cell service at the property, you should be able to stream video using a hot spot and can send texts and make phone calls. There is no television on site (so you can unplug for the weekend) We ask that you are mindful of food scraps and waste and put food away so to avoid attracting bears and other a animals. There is bear spray inside the cabin if ever needed. Please note: the bunk beds are able to accommodate people and kids on the shorter side. The bunks are 66 inches long by 33 inches wide. We also do not provide linens for the bunks and suggest sleeping bags and pillows.
