The dishwasher, washer, dryer & modern kitchen make staying in this brand new “cabin” far from roughing it! Enjoy all the lakes & rivers close by to fish for trout or just escape the city heat in the high country! *Sleeps 5, 2 Bdrm/1 bth: quiet neighborhood 5 min from Alpine, AZ The space Sleeps 5: -2 private bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, nightstands, fan and closet. Furnished in Farmhouse Style with Egyptian Cotton Sheets -1 rollaway single bed with 5 inch memory foam mattress that can be used in living room. Living Room: -Wood Burning, Rock Fireplace -Power Reclining Leather Couch and rocking Leather Recliner -TV with DVD player and large selection of DVDs -Dining room table/chairs (not pictured here yet) - Note: there is no WiFi or cable TV available but you will have 4 bars cell service at cabin. We hope you are able to unplug and enjoy the patios/decks, fireplace, pop in a DVD and relax in the slower peaceful pace of the White Mountains -board games / cards Kitchen: -dishwasher -gas stove and oven -granite countertops -keurig coffee maker and coffee provided -counter with 3 stools -stainless steel appliances/fridge/freezer -microwave -toaster Laundry: -washer / dryer available in laundry room and detergent is provided Bathroom: -bathtub / shower -plenty of towels -a magnifying mirror and shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided Patios: -2 covered patios/decks on front and back of house. -we often see deer and elk while sitting on the patios! - Weber Grill on back deck with furniture on both front and back patios Detached Garage: -small gym set up in garage for guests over 18 with stair climber, adjustable weights and a bench - cornhole game in garage that you are welcome to bring out into the yard! -unheated garage Generator: -back up whole house generator installed on home in case of power outages it will kick on automatically in the rare case of the loss of electricity for a stress free-seamless stay in any weather! Driveway: Can easily fit 2+ vehicles (There is no additional parking on the street) Neighborhood: -Located in a well established, safe and quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes from Alpine’s restaurants & bars. -Cabin is on city water & power -it’s a beautiful area to go for a walk around the neighborhood in, and we often see deer in the mornings & evenings on walks! What’s Nearby: -Luna Lake is only a 10 minute drive: rent a boat or kayak at the lake or fish for trout from the shore. -Hulsey Lake is only a 15 minute drive and is a beautiful area to hike around or fish! -There are 3 great restaurants and 2 bars, a small grocery store, coffee shop and tackle shop within a 5 minute drive of the cabin in Alpine. There is also a seasonal golf course within a 15 minute drive! -To access larger grocery stores head to Springerville (30 minutes) Safeway and while you’re there visit their El Rio movie theater (the oldest in AZ) or their many restaurants/cafes. -Drive the dirt roads down to the East Fork of the Black River, (35 minutes from the cabin) see tons of wildlife and fish for Apache Trout (one of the only places in the U.S. where you can catch them!) We often see Big Horn Sheep in this area! -if you love to go off-roading or hiking there are LOTS of trails in this area for both!! We have a book on the counter that lists info on lots of hiking trails! -Big Lake is only 45 minutes away - or go visit the Hon-Dah Casino in Pinetop (1 hr 15 min) - We are only an hour away from Sunrise Ski Area where you can snowboard/ski in winter or mountain bike in summer! Guest access Guest Spaces: You will have access to the 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, living room, kitchen, laundry room, fireplace, 2 patios, front and back yard, small gym in detached garage and driveway. Neighborhood is well established with city maintained roads and is accessible with any vehicle, high clearance not necessary. **There is a private 3rd bedroom in house that is not included in the rental space due to owners disability equipment in that room. **there is a small gym set up in the unheated garage that guests over 18 may use at their own risk. Included is a stair stepper, bench and adjustable weights. Directions for how to adjust weights and how to safely lift weights is posted on the wall. Other things to note Additional Info: **We see wildlife like deer and elk almost every day in the yard or in the lot across the street! Please try to not scare animals, this is something that is so special about our location and we want the wildlife to continue to return and not be afraid of the cabin. **In June/July we have had baby elk born in our backyard, nests of robins with babies being fed etc.. please give mothers and babies their space and observe these animals from a safe distance. **This is a 1/2 acre lot in a well established neighborhood- please be respectful of quiet hours/noise and neighbors-particularly in the back yard or out on the decks. **Please note we do not allow pets in the rental and this is a non-smoking cabin which includes no cigarettes, vaping or marijuana smoking in the cabin. **Due to owners personal disability equipment there is a 3rd private room that is not included in the rental and remains locked. Guests do not have access to this room. **Small Gym in unheated garage: stair climber, weight bench, adjustable weights, mat. For use by guests 18 and over. Use equipment at your own risk. We are not responsible for injuries due to misuse of weights/stairclimber etc.. and guests are responsible for their own physical capabilities.
