Description
The room is in our family home, just across the road from Duncannon's beautiful, long, sandy beach. Duncannon is in a beautiful location, overlooking Waterford estuary. It has a great pub, restaurant and café as well as a small shop. Local attractions include Duncannon Fort, Hook Lighthouse, Tintern Abbey and the many beautiful beaches nearby. We also have a double room which is listed separately. The space The room has a single bed and its own sink, with a dormer window looking out over the sea. The room is one of 3 bedrooms upstairs. One is used by the family, the other 2 are available for B&B. Guests have exclusive use of the upstairs bathroom which has a toilet and shower. There is also a second toilet upstairs. During your stay I work from home and am available in person most of the time if you need any help. Otherwise you can reach me on the phone any time. Other things to note We share our house with our two very friendly dogs, a golden retriever and a young springer spaniel/collie cross, and two cats. Our dogs will bark to let us know you're here, then want to be the first to say hello in the hope you'll want to be their new best friend. They will then probably bring you a toy as a token of their friendship and hope that you will want to pet them in return. We don't let the pets in the bedrooms (although some guests like to let them in which is fine by us :), but they do have free range in the rest of the house. If you are nervous around dogs or have any allergies we're afraid our home may not be the best place for you to stay. Otherwise, they'll be as happy to see you as we are.
