Welcome to our peaceful home we're delighted to share with you. With room for eight adults (or ten guests including children), you'll find expansive gardens and secret play areas to explore, a terrace perfect for sipping drinks and a hot tub offering breathtaking countryside views. Discover the beauty of Herefordshire and enjoy water activities on the river. And in the evening, cosy up by the log burner with a board game. Please note we have two night minimum and four night minimum in summer. The space Our charming home features five luxurious bedrooms designed for ultimate comfort and flexibility. Nestled within the stunning Coppett Hill Nature Reserve, the house offers a tranquil escape with a garden play space for the kids, miles of beautiful countryside walks and a diverse array of wildlife. Master Bedroom: A spacious retreat with a superking bed, complete with an ensuite shower and toilet. Second Bedroom: A versatile superking bed that can be separated into singles, accompanied by an ensuite shower and sink. Third Bedroom: Offers a superking bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep. Fourth Bedroom: Cosy and adaptable, featuring a superking bed that can be converted into two singles or one single (with the other tucked under the bed for extra space). Fifth Bedroom: Another cosy and flexible space, with a superking bed that can also be converted into two singles or one single (with the other tucked under the bed for additional room). Each room has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful and rejuvenating stay, making our home perfect for families, groups of friends, or any gathering looking to enjoy comfort and style. Our gardens span approximately 0.85 acres, ideal for outdoor enjoyment and exploration. You can also take advantage of our ten-seater dining table with a stunning view of the countryside and setting sun. We warmly welcome families with children to our home, offering a cupboard full of toys to keep your little ones entertained. For our youngest guests, we provide a travel cot (stored in the utility room); please bring your own baby cot bedding. Safety is a top priority, and while we do not have stairgates in the house, we have taken measures to ensure your peace of mind; gates are in place at the entrance to the hot tub and the end of the garden next to the stairs. We kindly ask that the hot tub lid remain securely on when not in use. Regardless, we stress constant vigilance to keep your children safe. Enjoy a family-friendly stay where both kids and adults can relax and have fun. Additional Amenities It's important to us that you experience the ultimate in comfort and relaxation, so we provide a few thoughtful amenities; fresh, clean bed linens and towels, and for an extra touch of luxury, plush robes, perfect for creating a spa-like experience. While we don't supply shampoo or body wash, we do offer hand soap and hand cream sourced from a local business that uses all-natural ingredients, ensuring a delightful and eco-friendly touch to your stay. We hope you'll find our kitchen stocked with all the crockery and appliances you'll need (although there is no microwave we do have a 10.4 litre air fryer). We also appreciate the convenience of a well-stocked larder, so we do our best to keep it topped up with essentials to enhance your stay. Help yourself to teabags, coffee from our Nespresso Vertuo machine, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and a selection of other condiments during your stay. Whether you're preparing a meal or simply enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, we hope you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and hassle-free. Guest access Enjoy the convenience and flexibility of 24/7 access to our home with our key lock box, allowing you to come and go at your leisure. Check-In: Available from 3pm, with the possibility of early access if cleaning is completed in time. If not, feel free to leave your baggage on our concealed, covered porch. Other things to note Located on the sought-after Coppett Hill, a local nature reserve with over 100 hectares of woodland and open hillside, you'll experience marvellous views and fantastic walks right at your doorstep. The charming village of Goodrich is just half a mile away, offering amenities such as an inn, primary school, church, and the historic Goodrich Castle. The market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are approximately 4 and 5 miles away, respectively. You'll also benefit from excellent road links to the Midlands via the A40, M50/M5, and Wales via the A40/M4. Polite Reminder on Noise Levels This home is a peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxation and unwinding. We want you to have a wonderful stay and simply ask that you help us maintain the calm atmosphere that makes this place so special. To preserve this peaceful environment, the house isn’t suitable for large gatherings (more than 8 adults), parties, or hen dos. We also really value our relationship with our neighbours, so we kindly ask that you be especially mindful when enjoying the hot tub or outdoor areas.
